Hello my friends here on Draw A Day community, This is a bit different from my usual post I think this will catch your attention.
I got curious about after
tagged me in her post. I also saw some fellow Hivers talk about it connecting different blockchains in a simple way and so I gave it a try.
So I decided to try something small just to see how it feels in real life. I transferred 2 HIVE using the Altera bridge and honestly… it was surprisingly smooth. I was expecting confusing steps, maybe delays, or needing to double-check a bunch of technical stuff and keys, but it just went through quickly and showed success right away. Hive keychain is also helpful in the log in process as my keys are already in there.
That experience did not sound complicated or intimidating like I said. It felt more like using a normal app you click, send, done. I will try to explore other features soon after I am done reading more about the platform. Based from what I gathered on my early browsing, Magi is trying to make it easier for people like us to move value between systems without needing to understand all the technical stuff behind it. so imagine an app where you can send money to anyone, anywhere, super fast and no bank or middleman can suddenly block or freeze it. That’s kinda what Magi is trying to build. It uses Hive and HBD (we are all familiar with) to make moving money between different apps and even different blockchains easier. Just think of it as a new kind of system where people like you and me are in control. It’s still early, but it’s one of those things that could quietly become really useful over time.
Sometimes the best way to understand something new is just to try it once stay informed keep in touch with fellow enthusiasts.
Here are some of the screenshots I took when I tried depositing Hive using Altera bridge
Hope you guys learned something from this and I encourage you all to take a look and try for yourself.
