Prompt: Happy Helpers
Today’s prompt is Happy Helpers, and I only managed to draw one because it will take longer to add details. This challenge was never meant to be a time consuming perfectly planned thing. It’s a sketch, a doodle, a quick moment of showing up with whatever energy is available. So instead of forcing myself to fill the page, I let this one helper take center stage because she deserves the spot light.
I imagined a small, cheerful worker heading out to fix something minor but important. I could be a leaky pipe, a loose hinge, or a minor house renovation. I gave her a nice uniform - the yellow coat which makes her feel ready for anything. It could be a protection from the rain, mess, or unknown tasks. There is something comforting about helpers who don’t make a big deal out of helping they do the task quietly and happily with a sense of purpose and fulfilment.
This drawing is also a reminder to myself that participation doesn’t have to be grand. One character, one idea, one small effort still counts. If you are short on time today, do not worry you are doing just fine. A single happy helper can carry the whole prompt.
