Hey guys
I’m jumping into the Just Draw drawing challenge today, and the prompt I chose is "Little Explorers." I had so much fun with this one
My Take on the Explorer
When I think of "Little Explorers," I think of that curious energy and the different roles we all play when we are out discovering something new. I wanted to capture a tiny squad on a big mission that are fun to look at.
In this sketch, I drew three distinct characters to really nail the feeling of a group adventure:
- The leader in the front is looking super focused with his flashlight, ready for anything
- The middle one is the investigator, peering through his magnifying glass to find those hidden details.
- And then you have the happy-go-lucky explorer in the back, just vibing and carrying the supplies with a huge grin.
I focused on their expressive faces and movement to show that even though they are little, their curiosity is larger than life. It’s all about that whimsical, adventurous spirit we should all try to keep, right?
Which explorer are you in your friend group? The one with the light, the one with the magnifying glass, or the one just happy to be there? Tell me in the comments
