I think this is good now I had to stop my drawing here for the prompt: pocket creature. This is a study that I made quickly few minutes ago isn't he cute? For the image reference I saw this cute animal on my feed today and I thought that this fits exactly the prompt for justdraw and so here it is my depiction
Here I started with the outline of the face and the mouth area which is quite difficult to make because I chose a dark color for the base not sure how will this turn out
I am happy with the eyes I know I would love making the eyes. From here they are already looking alive. The white band around the eyes make it even more life like then the dark pupils and the light effects
To make it even more defined I added a semi transparent layer on my canvas and started adding semi solid brush strokes in darker shade of brown. This gave the illusion of fine fur or fiber and I love how it is helping my vision
Now on another struggle the pocket. This wouold take more time to make it look like a pocket rather than a tree branch.
The time for the challenge is almost up so I think it is already fine for now to sketch the pocket. If ever I had the time and energy I might finish it to further define the folds and colors and make it look like a nice cozy pocket for this cute creature
