Nubbles 6: Tessel Grainsby
I finally had thought of a name for the 6th bear character I designed on my previous post. I also edited the drawing to include the special object: leather-bound almanac. I tweaked the collars a bit to give them that fur texture. The sunburst details on the sash are also made prominent. The hems of the trousers and sleeves were given jagged edges to make them interesting. The color of the tunic was enhanced to give it that deep red tone and a green inner lining for the tunic.
Below is the first draft of the bear for comparison purposes.
Look:
Tessel wears a deep red tunic trimmed with a fur collar, violet trousers with flower embroidery along the hems, and a wide blue sash with sunburst stitching. Her cap is a handwoven cone of green yarn, with purple and pink threads knotted through, giving it a festive and playful look when she moves.
Lore:
Tessel organizes festivals, sets up market fairs, and ensures the square is always alive with pompoms, lanterns, and song. Young nubbles often chase after her bright yarn cap, eager to learn what gathering is coming next. Without Tessel, every season feels stitched together with joy.
Special Object:
A thick, leather-bound festival almanac, stuffed with pressed flowers, fabric scraps, and scribbled notes
