It is so fun to draw things that are festive and have lots of lights. I am submitting this drawing to the sketchquest contest for December because the cold month always inspires me. I love making drawings that bring me a certain mood of joy and warmth.
This drawing is of a beautiful window display that is all lit up and filled with happy things like a big Christmas tree and little toys and gifts. I really love the idea of standing there and looking in and feeling that happy Christmas feeling. I am dreaming of seeing displays like this in real life and feeling the good holiday spirit at this time. It really gives me that warm feeling I am longing to have right now

First I was thinking about a Santa inspired doll and a red dress is a must to give it a festive feeling
There is a lot of negative space so I filled it with more toys like a huge bear, an elf , a ferris wheel and a green gift box
