Hello! This drawing is a participation for Doodle Magic Drawing Challenge: 306 together with LET US DRAW BUGS. Thanks to

Hive account@artofkylin for these two initiatives. I’m having a lot of fun drawing insects. Today’s shape was quite a challenge, especially because I’m forcing myself to really look at insects. But with some leaves, a few lines, and a change of color, I achieved this result: somewhere between abstract and cartoonish, a small beetle with big mandibles next to some leaves. I added abstract shapes in doodle’s brown color to frame and complete the composition. It may not be the best drawing in this series, but I can definitely say I had fun drawing it, and it was a real challenge.
Hola, este dibujo es una participación para Doodle Magic Drawing Challenge: 306 junto a LET US DRAW BUGS. Gracias a Hive account@theithei y Hive account@artofkylin por estas dos iniciativas, me estoy divirtiendo mucho dibujando insectos. La forma de hoy me costó mucho trabajo, sobre todo porque me estoy obligando a observar insectos. Pero con unas hojas, unas líneas y un cambio de color obtuve este resultado, entre lo abstracto y lo caricaturesco: un pequeño escarabajo de grandes mandíbulas junto a unas hojas. Agregué formas abstractas del color café de doodle para enmarcar y completar la composición. No será el mejor dibujo de esta serie, pero sí puedo decir que me divertí dibujándolo y fue todo un reto.
