Coffee in one hand, big stride feet moving on autopilot. That was the mood when I started this sketch just that familiar busy day moment that I am sure everyone can relate to.
Then I thought about those small moments. You are walking. They are walking. Everyone has clearly a schedule. And still… somehow, you notice someone. A pause. A smile. Maybe a tiny exchange. of oh, hi, you’re here too.
So I drew this frog. Nice warm scarf, hot coffee in hand and then a little meeting happens to remind you that even on autopilot, connection can happen and surprise your day.
I like thinking that moments like this just happen. They don’t wait for quiet or perfect timing. They show up despite the noise, while you are already tired or occupied and somehow, they still matter.
This is my SketchQuest January entry, inspired by the idea that even on the busiest days, a small hello can still make a difference.
No pressure.
Just observation.
