Am everywhere and i sell almost everything, building online shop involves trying out different products to see which one is more attracted to buyers then focus on that.
Its graduation season in different schools here in Nigeria so parents are on my DM to get all their children will need for the graduation.
In my last post i highlighted the importance of building relationships with your customers as an entrepreneur, this helps you to build your business, this relationship allows your customers to trust whatever you can offer to them.
My customers needed children stuffs like pink dress, white shirts, cargo pants and shoes, these are children of different size and age, it requires extra care to get exactly their size and choice.
How i got the exact sizes and their choice.
Before leaving to the market i got measurements of their full trouser length, shirt length and shoe sizes, buying stuffs for children can be soo difficult but with their body measurement it becomes so easier.
Yes i need to make some profit but my main focus is what is called "Customers satisfaction" which is exactly what i got yesterday after spending 8hrs in the market getting just what they want.
How i get the best.
The best requires extra effort, wholesalers who order their goods directly from China or Vietnam will always give the best and affordable goods.
Building relationships with them is also very important because that whill will also help you to serve your customers well.
This wholesalers are located at a very big market in lagos state known as Balogun market and they are in the 5th floor of the olowole plaza, extra strength is needed to get their 😆 lol.
My scaling and growth tips.
To me scaling and growth have a different meaning and I different goals to reach them.
Yes before now i had just few orders and i always hear the word "let me see it first", but now my customers are very comfortable with whatever i offer because i always try to give them the best quality, yes i need profit but i go for quality first since thats the first thing that keeps a customer and makes them order more.
Little profit repeatedly is better than huge profit once and for all.
So my growth depends on my customer and what i can offer and as an entrepreneur i really have to explore other options, marketing tips and some other goods to reach the goal of standard growth as an entrepreneur.
I never knew where a type of hat is sold but i took the order, and made extensive search in the market to get this cap.
I made no profit on this cap but i achieved my motive which is making my customer happy and building more trust because she can order whatever she wants with full trust that i will get the best of what she wants.
As an entrepreneur you must understand growth and work towards it, it involves a whole lot like market penetration, which is exactly what i did yesterday in search of quality goods.
At every order i adjusted the price to help my customer buy everything she needed for the children, i also checked the quality of every item i bought.
Market expansion is in my list and that lead me to search for things i don't have in my online shop, on getting them i already added them in my shop.
Unfortunately the shoes i bought where a little bit bigger than the childrens feet so i will likely return them and that is where partnership comes in, an entrepreneur needs to partner with wholesalers given her the opportunity to serve her customers well.
Am open to understanding new market trend, new project and product and how to meet my customers demand.
Building up and achieving growth as an entrepreneur is not something easy, it takes time, effort, struggles challenges but if you do not give you will smile as you become the boss of yourself.
