Bien, ya entramos en el nuevo año y posiblemente ya tengas esbozado o terminado los lineamientos generales de tu emprendimiento.

Posiblemente, has aplicado una matriz FODA para evaluar el panorama de la manera más “objetiva posible, y determinar, en este momento presente, cuáles son las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas, como una entrada para profundizar en el plan de acción que seguirás en los próximos meses para avanzar en tus metas emprendedoras.

Dentro de las tantas habilidades, destrezas, competencias, cualidades, fortalezas de carácter que constantemente se nos resalta que los emprendedores “debemos” cultivar, se encuentra la capacidad de adaptarse a los cambios y hacerlo de una manera rápida para no quedarte fuera de juego, unida a ella también se supone que poseemos ese ”poder superior”, para transformar las circunstancias adversas y que jueguen a nuestro favor.

Como dicen el papel aguanta todo, podemos escribir muchos artículos motivadores, dar tips para mejorar estrategias, estudiar hasta el cansancio, formas de hacer y trabajar internamente el empoderamiento hasta convencernos del “yo sí puedo”. Todo esto está muy bien y soy de las convencidas en que cada uno de estos tópicos van sumando en ese día a día que nos hace ser más diestros, resilientes y echados pa´lante para resolver lo que se nos presenta.

Sin embargo, hay circunstancias que escapan completamente de nuestras manos, la sombra o el peso de ellas nos paralizan y la incertidumbre va extendiéndose como una mancha en el agua que va cubriendo el espacio, llenándonos de inseguridades por no encontrar el camino para bordear el obstáculo y seguir adelante con nuestros propósitos.

Posiblemente, te suene cargada de pesimismo esta corta disertación, pero fue parte de lo que recogía ayer tarde cuando nos reunimos cinco emprendedores de mi localidad que, en conjunto, estamos planificando estrategias de marketing para impulsar nuestros emprendimientos en el sector.

Y es que los venezolanos, lejos de comenzar el año llenos de optimismo, lo iniciamos con una gran incertidumbre y por los momentos el sentir es que las circunstancias políticas que nos rodean detienen cualquier actividad, que el diez de enero, día de la toma de posesión del nuevo presidente se vislumbra cargada de conflictos graves cuyas consecuencias no las podemos medir, por lo que el rumor general es, hay que esperar a ver qué pasa el diez, para poder accionar.

Ciertamente, la expectativa es grande y no muy positiva, sin embargo, estoy en el grupo de los que piensa que no podemos dejar de accionar, que en estos días previos podemos trabajar en fortalecer administrativamente nuestros proyectos, por ejemplo, podemos organizar, planificar, reestructurar e incluso plantearnos nuevas posibilidades.

Por otra parte, si tu emprendimiento te lo permite y tienes grupos conformados de clientes, el momento es oportuno para llevar un mensaje positivo, de confianza, haciendo sentir que aun cuando estamos en un momento crítico no podemos abocarnos a un pensamiento catastrófico que desaliente.

No, no se trata de querer tapar el sol con un dedo, o de hacer como que si lo que está pasando no pasa, más bien es lo contrario, es llevar un mensaje que implícitamente diga: sé y siento lo que estamos viviendo, por eso estoy aquí, estamos juntos, apoyándonos para salir adelante con lo que venga.

Amigos, amigas, emprendedores venezolanos, indudablemente las circunstancias tienen un enorme peso, pero como buenos resilientes que hemos demostrado ser, no dejemos que esta nos hunda y nos paralice.

Among the many skills, abilities, competencies, qualities, character strengths that are constantly highlighted to us entrepreneurs that we “must” cultivate, is the ability to adapt to change and do it quickly so as not to be left out of the game, coupled with it is also assumed that we possess that “higher power” to transform adverse circumstances and play in their favor.

As they say, paper holds everything, we can write many motivational articles, give tips to improve strategies, study to exhaustion ways of being and doing and internally work on empowerment until we are convinced of “I can do it”. All of this is very good and I am convinced that each of these topics add up in that day to day that makes us more skilled, resilient and forward to solve what comes our way.

However, there are circumstances that are completely out of our hands, the shadow or the weight of them paralyze us and uncertainty is spreading like a stain in the water that is covering the space, filling us with insecurities for not finding the way to overcome the obstacle and move forward with our purposes.

This short dissertation may sound full of pessimism, but it was part of what I gathered yesterday afternoon when we met five entrepreneurs from my town who, together, are planning marketing strategies to promote our ventures in the sector.

And the fact is that Venezuelans, far from starting the year full of optimism, begin it with great uncertainty and at the moment the feeling is that the political circumstances surrounding us stop any activity, that the tenth of January, the day of the inauguration of the new president is loaded with serious conflicts whose consequences we cannot measure, so the general rumor is, we must wait to see what happens on the tenth, to be able to act.

Certainly, the expectation is great and not very positive, however, I am in the group of those who think that we cannot stop acting, that in these previous days we can work on strengthening our projects administratively, for example, we can organize, plan, restructure and even consider new possibilities.

On the other hand, if your business allows it, and you have groups of clients, this is the right time to send a positive message of confidence, making us feel that even when we are in a critical moment we cannot focus on a catastrophic thought that discourages us.

No, it is not about covering the sun with a finger, or pretending that what is happening is not happening, it is rather the opposite, it is to carry a message that implicitly says: I know and feel what we are going through, that is why I am here, we are together, supporting each other to move forward with whatever comes.

Friends, Venezuelan entrepreneurs, undoubtedly circumstances have an enormous weight, but as good resilient people that we have proven to be, let us not let them sink us and paralyze us.
