De haber pensado aquél día que tuve mi primer contacto con la computadora que hoy día sería tan fácil manejarla y que pudiera tenerla incluso en un tamaño reducido para llevarla conmigo a todos lados hubiera puesto un poco más de empeño en aprender más sobre computación e informática. De hecho, por algún momento tuve el impulso de estudiar esa carrera en lugar de la que escogí, pero siento que me desanimo un poco lo “complejo” que veía su uso.
Ahora recuerdo con gracia que había que aprenderse los códigos para teclear, y tantas otras experiencias que tuve relacionadas a eso que me hacían creer que aquello de las computadoras era para genios de la NASA.
Pero así como me paso con la computadora, nos pasa en la vida diaria con muchas cosas, especialmente con la tecnología, nos acostumbramos a algo o creemos conocer la potencialidad que puede tener y después evoluciona en otra cosa que nos maravilla y asombra, y también en muchos casos nos incomoda…
¿Recuerdas toda la resistencia que hubo cuando se implementó en el país el pago móvil interbancario?
Y luego de esa resistencia no sabemos que hacer sin él. La mayor parte de las transacciones financieras que se realizan en Venezuela se concretan a través de pagos móviles, lo que es un indicador de haber superado este paradigma cómo población, del uso de una aplicación del celular como un medio de pago.
Siento que esto ocurre con toda esta tecnología blockchain, y tal vez te preguntaras en este punto ¿qué tiene que ver todo esto con el mundo del emprendimiento? Y la verdad es que para mí la respuesta sería: TODO.
Durante el evento de la CaracasBlockchainWeek tuve la oportunidad de ver varios emprendimientos de diversa índole y me encantó que todos tuvieran wallets en diferentes Exchange para recibir criptomonedas como forma de pago, y era algo que se daba en el lugar de forma bastante natural. Y los que no tenían wallets se dirigían a otro stand donde estaban mis estimadas amigas 
Tuve la oportunidad de comprar un libro de un influencer que me encanta, el vendedor no conocía el Hive y aproveché ese momento para hablarle de nuestro ecosistema, se mostró bastante interesado y luego le mostré como en cuestión de minutos (porque soy un poco lenta con eso) podía hacer el cambio pasando unos Hives de mi wallet a Binance, luego cambiarlos a usdt y le realicé el pago del libro. Ese emprendedor aunque ya estaba receptivo al tema de las crypto porque recibía pagos en usdt y bitcoin, quedó interesado en conocer más proyectos como Hive para ampliar su repertorio.
Aunque cada día son más los emprendedores que se suman al manejo de las criptomonedas, siento que en mi país es algo aún incipiente y de cierta forma hasta “temeroso” por el desconocimiento que tenemos sobre el tema, y por ello les hablaba de los paradigmas. Es importante como emprendedores qué nos preguntemos ¿Qué paradigmas tengo respecto a mi negocio? Y esto abre una ventana grande de respuestas empezando por los recursos financieros, formas de pago, presentación del producto, ventas en línea o solo en tienda física y pare de contar.
En estos tiempos modernos el emprendedor debe ajustarse a los cambios del entorno, y hoy por hoy tener esta visión de la blockchain y estar receptivos a recibir pagos en criptomonedas es un plus distintivo respecto al común denominador, para empezar porque tiene grandes ventajas competitivas respecto a la rapidez en los pagos, el tema de las comisiones, entre otros aspectos.

But just as it happened to me with the computer, it happens to us in daily life with many things, especially with technology, we get used to something or we think we know the potential it can have and then it evolves into something else that amazes and astonishes us, and also in many cases it makes us uncomfortable?
Do you remember all the resistance when interbank mobile payment was implemented in the country?
And after that resistance we don't know what to do without it. Most of the financial transactions made in our country are made through mobile payments, which is an indicator that as a population we are overcoming that paradigm of using a cell phone application as a means of payment.
I feel that this is happening with all this blockchain technology, and maybe you are wondering at this point what does all this have to do with the world of entrepreneurship? And the truth is that for me the answer would be: EVERYTHING.
During the CaracasBlockchainWeek event I had the opportunity to see several startups of various kinds and I loved that they all had wallets in different Exchange to receive cryptocurrencies as a form of payment, and it was something that happened on the spot quite naturally. And those who did not have wallets went to another booth where my dear friends
I had the opportunity to buy a book from an influencer that I love, the seller did not know about Hive and I took that moment to tell him about our ecosystem, he was quite interested and then I showed him how in a matter of minutes (because I'm a little slow with that) I could make the exchange by passing some Hives from my wallet to Binance, then exchange them to usdt and I made the payment for the book. Although every day more and more entrepreneurs are joining the management of cryptocurrencies, I feel that in my country it is still incipient and in a way even "fearful" because of the lack of knowledge we have on the subject, and that is why I was talking about the paradigms. It is important as entrepreneurs to ask ourselves: What paradigms do I have regarding my business? And this opens a large window of answers starting with financial resources, payment methods, product presentation, online sales or only in physical store and so on.
In these modern times the entrepreneur must adjust to the changing environment, and today having this vision of the blockchain and being receptive to receive payments in cryptocurrencies is a distinctive plus over the common denominator, for starters because it has great competitive advantages regarding the speed of payments, the issue of commissions, among other aspects.
