Emprender es adentrarse a un sinfín de emociones, inicialmente sentimos una gran incertidumbre, es así como por lo general empezamos muchos de nuestros proyectos o emprendimientos, sin embargo, en todo este tiempo he aprendido que la importancia está en saber gestionar esas emociones, que a pesar de sentirlas no podemos permitir que nos paralicen.

Puede parecer sencillo, sin embargo, no lo es, ahora mismo recuerdo el mes de marzo del año 2020 cuando inició el confinamiento por causa de la pandemia en mi país, estuve tranquila hasta el momento que entendí que sería de manera indefinida sumándole también la escasez de combustible, el escenario planteaba mantenernos en casa y salir estrictamente a comprar alimentos cumpliendo las medidas de bioseguridad, fue un momento de desesperación donde el cerebro me decía calma todo pasara como siempre solo es un momento seguro habrá una solución, por otro lado, el corazón sentía miedo porque todo parecía apuntar a que era el fin del mundo. No hay nada más horrible que la incertidumbre y si hablamos de negocio es grave la cosa. Estuve así dos días, hasta que me senté trate de anestesiar un poco el corazón en ese momento de conflicto y anoté cuáles eran las dificultades que mi negocio estaba presentando producto del confinamiento y escasez del combustible, lo que técnicamente paralizaba la actividad económica en todo el país.

There is nothing more horrible than uncertainty and if we talk about business it is serious. I was like that for two days, until I sat down and tried to anesthetize my heart a little in that moment of conflict and I wrote down the difficulties that my business was having due to the confinement and shortage of fuel, which technically paralyzed the economic activity in the whole country.

Eso para mí representaba 0 ventas, ya que la mayoría (80%) de mis clientes están fuera de mi ciudad, recuerdo que el miedo se elevó exponencialmente jajaja perdí todo el tiempo de estudio dedicado a la inteligencia emocional y por un momento deje de ser la hija de una orientadora coloque en la cesta de la basura todos los conocimientos que mi mamá me ha transmitido a lo largo de mi vida. Me convertí en una persona negativa, sin visión, perdí por completo el liderazgo, no tuve creatividad para sortear ese obstáculo. Colapse.

Esta imagen tiene un valor incalculable, porque sinceramente he pasado por muchas situaciones, he sorteado muchos obstáculos, soy una persona con autocontrol que gestiono bien mis emociones, pero como humanos no estamos exentos de perder el control o de errar y eso en ciertas situaciones nos ayuda a identificar la emoción luego de drenar finalmente lo que queda es sentarnos a buscar la solución de la realidad o de lo que está pasando, la gran enseñanza para mí fue justo en esta ocasión, una situación atípica que en otros tiempos hubiésemos pensado que jamás pasaría. De hecho después de lo sucedido o de mi reacción me reí, incluso me tomó por sorpresa como perdí el control y deje que las emociones me rebasaran, increíblemente un aprendizaje que sumó y que me fortalece jajaja <la risa es porque dos años después les puedo decir: - ahora siento y creo que soy capaz de todo y puedo con lo que sea.> Hasta que sea sorprendida por otro evento no común como los que han venido sucediendo mundialmente.

Resumiendo fue uno de los mejores años en cuanto a ventas, increíblemente fue así, sume muchas cosas positivas en medio de un gran caos. Cambiamos el auto por la bici y eso basto para ver un horizonte de posibilidades y avanzar mucho más, cumplía con los envíos y hasta sume salud a mi vida deje el sedentarismo. Fue una de las mejores lecciones.
To sum it up, it was one of the best years in terms of sales, incredibly so, I added many positive things in the middle of a great chaos. We changed the car for the bike and that was enough to see a horizon of possibilities and to advance much more, I fulfilled the shipments and even added health to my life, I left the sedentary lifestyle. No se trata de ser perfectos y jamás sucumbir ante las emociones, somos humanos, pero entender que todo tiene una solución que en el instante de mayor desesperación hay que detenerse antes de dar una respuesta o tomar una decisión de esto se trata. De parar, pensar, analizar y encontrar una salida, apostar a la mejor opción siempre.
It is not about being perfect and never succumb to emotions, we are human, but to understand that everything has a solution that in the moment of greatest despair you have to stop before giving an answer or making a decision, this is what it is all about. Utilizar el hacer o ser dependiendo de la ocasión, hago lo que pueda o simplemente soy aceptando la situación (emoción) y sacando de ahí el aprendizaje correspondiente.

Antes para mí no había imposibles, y en mi trabajo como Ingeniera las órdenes como sea las cumplía hasta que entendí que en la vida hay cosas que sencillamente no son y que por más que queramos no pasaran, así que no vale la pena que me resista a la realidad. Por eso ahora no pierdo energías en algo que no puede ser más bien, la invierto en buscar oportunidades, en tener una visión clara de lo que quiero para permanecer encaminada. Esto sin duda lo aplico en mi emprendimiento porque me ayuda a ser asertiva y a mantener una comunicación positiva y eso es importante para un emprendedor.
Before for me there were no impossibilities, and in my work as an engineer I would comply with any orders until I understood that in life there are things that simply are not and that no matter how much we want they will not happen, so it is not worth it for me to resist reality. That's why now I don't waste energy on something that can't be but rather I invest it in looking for opportunities, in having a clear vision of what I want to stay on track. I certainly apply this in my entrepreneurship because it helps me to be assertive and to maintain a positive communication and that is important for an entrepreneur.
