In a country like ours where we are seriously facing the challenge of unemployment. In the late 70s to late 80s, the issue of employment in Nigeria has never been a challenge because we had minimal graduate then and many people then didn't so much believed in Education because we were just getting healed from the injuries that was brought by the civil war. So most of our parents were sorting for survival before even think of acquiring formal education. Though, some out of sorting for survival still has chance to go for formal education. As we were told that, then before you managed to finish your secondary school cert, job was already waiting talk less someone who finished tertiary education.
But currently, it's the other way round. What brought about the notion that, education is the way to success? That's where the story changed such that most of our parents who missed formal education want to make sure their children are education. That's how the issue of unemployment started, we are producing more graduates than the number of jobs that's available.
So what changed the notion?
Before I could say anything further, Nigeria is one of the countries in the world that entrepreneur business has been helping a lot. That's what brought about people coming into rearing poultry farm business as an Entrepreneur which has been helping on the part of unemployment challenge facing Nigerians. Of course, I have encouraged so many people that want to come into the business but I never did that in a wrong timing. Why did I use word the "wrong timing"? Poultry farming can be frustrating in such way that, it's advisable to come into the business when the marketing part of the business is friendly. I have predicted the market and I have never for once missed.
One of the best time that I love introducing poultry farm business to those who are coming into the business new is when the marketing of the birds production hits the festive period. This is because the festive period is when you sell your broiler product at most preferably choices; either you are selling on live kilo or dressed kilo. It's easy to sell at this periods; Christmas time, New year period, Easter and Eid Fitr periods. These are periods that is easy to sell your birds.
Lastly, I want to talk about the frustrating aspect of missing marketing target when to put up your Broiler production on sales. This is it, starting up a poultry farm business as an Entrepreneur, at least one who would have table the business capital from the birds day old to when they will reach to be harvested. After they must reached to be harvested and they there's no market or its harvest falls in a a period when there's no pressure in the market. This pressure falls on the part of the buyers who that buy as a wholesalers, retailers and as distributors. When these set of buyers are not pressured to purchase more chicken, just know that to sell your chicken product would turn to a frustrating one.

En un país como el nuestro donde nos enfrentamos seriamente al reto del desempleo. A finales de los 70 y finales de los 80, el tema del empleo en Nigeria nunca ha sido un desafío porque teníamos un mínimo de graduados en ese momento y muchas personas no creían tanto en la educación porque recién nos estábamos curando de las heridas que trajo La guerra civil. Así que la mayoría de nuestros padres estaban buscando la supervivencia antes de siquiera pensar en adquirir una educación formal. Sin embargo, algunos que no están clasificados para sobrevivir todavía tienen la oportunidad de ir a la educación formal. Como nos dijeron, entonces, antes de que lograras terminar tu certificado de escuela secundaria, el trabajo ya estaba esperando hablar menos con alguien que terminó la educación terciaria.
Pero actualmente, es al revés. ¿Qué provocó la noción de que la educación es el camino hacia el éxito? Ahí es donde la historia cambió de tal manera que la mayoría de nuestros padres que perdieron la educación formal quieren asegurarse de que sus hijos reciban educación. Así empezó el tema del desempleo, estamos produciendo más graduados que puestos de trabajo disponibles.
Entonces, ¿qué cambió la noción?
Antes de que pudiera decir algo más, Nigeria es uno de los países del mundo al que los negocios de emprendedores han estado ayudando mucho. Eso es lo que provocó que las personas entraran en el negocio de la cría de aves de corral como empresarios, lo que ha estado ayudando en la parte del desafío del desempleo que enfrentan los nigerianos. Por supuesto, he alentado a muchas personas que quieren ingresar al negocio, pero nunca lo hice en el momento equivocado. ¿Por qué usé la palabra "momento equivocado"? La cría de aves de corral puede ser tan frustrante que es recomendable entrar en el negocio cuando la parte de marketing del negocio es amigable. He predicho el mercado y nunca he fallado.
Uno de los mejores momentos en los que me encanta presentar el negocio de granjas avícolas a aquellos que ingresan al negocio por primera vez es cuando la comercialización de la producción de aves llega al período festivo. Esto se debe a que el período festivo es cuando vende su producto de pollo de engorde en la mayoría de las opciones preferidas; o estás vendiendo por kilo vivo o por kilo vestido. Es fácil vender en estos períodos; Período de Navidad, período de Año Nuevo, períodos de Semana Santa y Eid Fitr. Estos son períodos en los que es fácil vender sus aves.
Por último, quiero hablar sobre el aspecto frustrante de perder el objetivo de marketing cuando se debe vender la producción de pollos de engorde. Eso es todo, poner en marcha un negocio de granja avícola como un empresario, al menos uno que tendría mesa el capital del negocio desde el día de edad de las aves hasta cuando llegarán a ser cosechadas. Después deben llegar a ser cosechados y no hay mercado o su cosecha cae en un período en el que no hay presión en el mercado. Esta presión recae por parte de los compradores que compran como mayoristas, minoristas y distribuidores. Cuando este conjunto de compradores no esté presionado para comprar más pollo, sepa que vender su producto de pollo se convertiría en algo frustrante.
