Hello to everyone in this community! I recently had the opportunity to attend a flea market as an exhibitor. This was a great opportunity for me, as I hadn't been to a flea market to offer my products since I moved, so I was somewhat excited about this opportunity. In my online store Suecitos I offer handmade products, usually made of fabric, such as bags or dolls.
Since I started liking crafts, I took advantage of giving away and selling some of the things I made. I did it through family or friends. Until I had the opportunity to be at a market with a friend and I realized it would be a good idea to give my brand a name. Since I started making stuffed animals and cloth dolls, I thought of calling it "Suecitos", because of my name "Sue" and a combination of the word "suavecito", although later, I added new products hehe My first logo was simpler, but a fairy remained in it, because of the idea of artisan fairies, since I belonged to a small group of artisans in the town hehe.
As time went by, I continued making pieces, but for other people. I sewed a lot, too much, haha, and the same with painting. But I abandoned my project, although I thought I'd get back to it as soon as I could. Little by little, I made a few things, and so, one day I decided to update my logo. Around that time, I started here at Hive and was motivated to show what I was doing. In the new logo, the fairy had a more personal design.
When I was able to go to a couple of flea markets with my friend 
I didn't want to change it too much because I still like it the way it is, so I just focused on making it more colorful and bright. I did this using an app called Medibang Paint, which is what I usually use for my drawings. I plan to print it out on adhesive paper later so I can put it on products and give it to customers who want to follow me. I've already printed it out on paper, and it looks pretty nice.
Once finished, I updated my social media and got ready for the flea market. It was surprising how a small change motivated me to resume this small project I've had for years. I confess I was somewhat embarrassed to resume it after so many years, as I've seen people just starting their businesses and doing very well, but we can't compare ourselves to others. It's a mistake that can paralyze us. Even if they're small steps, I plan to continue with my online store. I'm already developing some new products, and I plan to tell you about the flea market in upcoming posts.
I think showing this can motivate others who are thinking about starting their own business. It's not an easy path, but if you have that motivation like me, that tells you "Do it!", I want you to understand that we can achieve it if we believe in it ✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Hace poco tuve la oportunidad de asistir a un mercadillo como expositor. Para mí, esta fue una gran oportunidad, ya que no asistía a un bazar a ofrecer mis productos desde que me mudé, así que estaba algo emocionada por esa oportunidad. En mi tienda virtual Suecitos. ofrezco productos hechos por mi, por lo general hechos con tela, como bolsos o peluches.
Desde que me comenzaron a gustar las manualidades, aproveché de regalar y vender algunas de las cosas que realizaba. Lo hacía a través de familiares o amigos. Hasta que tuve la oportunidad de estar en un mercado con una amiga y me di cuenta de que sería buena idea darle un nombre a mi marca. Como comencé realizando peluches y muñecas de tela, pensé en llamarlo "Suecitos", por mi nombre "Sue" y una mezcla con la palabra "suavecito", aunque después, fui añadiendo nuevos productos jeje Mi primer logo, era más simple, pero se mantuvo un hada en el mismo, por la idea de las hadas artesanas, siendo que pertenecí a un pequeño grupo de artesanos en el pueblo jeje.
Con el pasar del tiempo, me dediqué a seguir elaborando piezas, pero para otras personas. Cosí mucho, demasiado jaja y lo mismo con la pintura. Pero dejé abandonado mi proyecto, aunque pensaba en retomarlo en cuanto pudiera. Poco a poco elaboraba alguna cosita y así, fue que un día me animé a actualizar mi logo. Por ese tiempo, comencé aquí en Hive y me motivaba poder mostrar lo que hacía. En el nuevo logo, el hada si tenía un diseño más personal.
Cuando pude ir a un par de bazares con mi amiga
No quería cambiarlo mucho porque me sigue gustando tal y como está, así que sólo me enfoqué en hacerlo más colorido y brillante. Lo hice utilizando una app llamada Medibang Paint, la cual es la que suelo utilizar para mis dibujos. Mi idea es poder imprimirlo luego en papel adhesivo para poder colocarlo en los productos y entregarlo a los clientes que deseen seguirme. Ya lo imprimí en papel y se ve bastante bonito.
Una vez terminado, actualicé mis redes y me preparé con el mercadillo. Fue sorprendente como un pequeño cambio me motivó a retomar este pequeño proyecto que he tenido a lo largo de los años. Confieso que estaba algo apenada de retomarlo luego de tantos años, ya que he visto personas que recién comienzan con su negocio y les va muy bien, pero, no podemos compararnos con los demás. Es un error que nos puede llegar a paralizar. Así sean pequeños pasos, tengo pensado seguir con mi tienda online, ya estoy elaborando algunos productos nuevos y tengo pensado hablarles en próximos posts cómo fue lo del mercadillo.
Pienso que mostrar esto, puede motivar a otro que esté pensando en iniciar su propio negocio, no es un camino fácil pero si tienes esa motivación como yo, que te dice "¡Hazlo!", quiero que entiendas que podemos lograrlo si creemos en ello ✨
