Hello everyone in this community! For some time now, I've decided to bring some items from my online shop with me whenever I visit the countryside for a few days. Since then, I've had the opportunity to sell a few products in the city after promoting my creations on local pages. But something I've wanted to do for a while is try attending bazaars. When I lived here, I used to participate with a friend, so I wanted to try it again, and luckily, I had the opportunity to participate as a shop at a bazaar for three days. I'll let you know how my experience went.
At the first bazaar, I participated alone, and I admit, I was very nervous because I didn't know what to expect or how it would go. I think my anxiety showed, because unlike the other stalls, I didn't have a table or chair, so I had to use a tablecloth to display my products, and the space wasn't enough to properly show everything I had brought. Despite everything, I made a few sales and received some nice comments that encouraged me to try again.
The following week, I went back to the same bazaar, this time with a friend, which was an excellent idea because she not only helped me with a larger tablecloth, but also with the enthusiasm to serve the customers. I was very happy that my friend made good sales and, of course, to spend time with her. To my delight, I also sold a few things.
Finally, the last bazaar was recently. It was unexpected, so there wasn't as much advertising as with the others, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to participate, as I wanted to invite a friend to join me and bring her own products. I not only sold items, but I also did a craft exchange with another artisan. I really enjoyed it and would love to do it again.
I'm getting everything ready to head home in the next few days. I'm not only taking away the joy of resting, drawing, and spending time with my friends, but also the experience of interacting with the public face-to-face as a shop owner. When I'm back in the capital, I hope to participate in bazaars, and I know I'll be much more confident, not only in myself but also in what I've created with so much love and care. ¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! De un tiempo para acá, tomé la decisión de traerme conmigo algunas cosas de mi tienda online cada vez que me vengo a pasar unos días de visita al campo. Y desde que lo he hecho, he tenido la oportunidad de vender uno que otro producto en la ciudad, luego de promocionar mis creaciones en paginas locales. Pero algo que quería hacer desde hace tiempo era intentar asistir a bazares. Cuando vivía aquí, participaba con una amiga, así que quería intentar hacerlo de nuevo y para mi suerte, tuve la oportunidad de aprovechar de asistir como tienda en 3 días de bazar. Les comentaré qué tal estuvo mi experiencia.
En el primer bazar, participé sola y lo admito, estaba muy nerviosa, pues no sabía qué esperar ni cómo me iría. Creo que se notaba mi ánimo, pues a diferencia de las demás tiendas, no contaba con una mesa o silla, por lo que tuve que optar por usar un mantel para colocar mis productos y el espacio, no era suficiente para mostrar adecuadamente todo lo que había llevado. A pesar de todo, hice unas ventas y recibí unos lindos comentarios que me animaron a intentarlo de nuevo.
La semana que le siguió, volvió a asistir al mismo bazar, esta vez junto a una amiga, lo cual fue una excelente idea porque no sólo me apoyó con un mantel más amplio, sino también con el ánimo para atender a los clientes. Me alegré mucho de que mi amiga obtuviese buenas ventas y por supuesto, de pasar tiempo con ella. Para mi alegría, también vendí algunas cosas.
Finalmente, el último bazar fue hace poco. Fue inesperado, así que no hubo tanta publicidad como con los otros, aún así, no quería dejar pasar la oportunidad de participar, pues quería invitar a otra amiga a que me acompañase y llevase también sus productos. No sólo vendí, sino que hice un intercambio artesanal con otra artesana. Me gustó mucho eso y me gustaría poder hacerlo de nuevo.
Estoy preparando todo para volver a casa en los próximos días, no sólo me llevo el haber podido descansar, dibujar y compartir con mis amigas, sino también experiencia de interactuar con el público cara a cara como tienda. Cuando esté en la capital, espero conseguir participar en bazares y sé que estaré mucho más segura, no sólo de mi misma, sino también de lo que he creado con tanto amor y cariño.
