Converting Areca Palm Gardens to Palm Oil Plantations

tonight I want to share a little story about my activity today, which is cutting areca nut trees, changing the function of areca nut plantations into oil palm plantations.

I work with Hive account@aryblack180420 cutting areca nut which is paid by the garden owner. The tool we use to cut areca nut is "senso" we work in the morning until late afternoon, we are paid for one betel stem nut that we have cut down for five thousand rupiah. Thank God our work today went smoothly without any problems with the cutting machine.

I am a freelancer, the work I do variation. which today we cut the areca nut maybe another day I will go back to work cutting the thatch.

This garden was previously a areca plantation and then changed its function to an oil palm plantation. Here, oil palm plants are the prima donna of Acehnese people in general. With the existence of oil palm plantations, it is very helpful for people in the village to work here in meeting their daily needs.

during the day we eat together with a makeshift menu of papaya vegetables and salted fish. we eat it voraciously without leaving a single grain of rice behind. maybe because the work we do is too exhausting so our bodies need food to add energy. after eating our energy gradually improves and continue cutting areca nut trees until the afternoon
