Its another week, another contest.
Click here for guidance, the count down will be over soon:
Its a gloomy day which is good for someone like me who bike to work. Its not likes this everyday. Most of the time the sun is harsh at 10:00 am in the morning. The time that I must go out so I will have enough time with not rushing to pedal in the road.
In my basket, there I have a raincoat and the lunchbox. I am set to go in the road. I hope it it won't rain yet. Looks like it.
I reach at this side of the road that I have to muster my courage to cross. The busiest part of my commute. Once I get pass through it, the road has the bike lane but not this part yet. Oh, I am behind this LPG truck. Do you know how high it the price of the gas today? We all are aware that when the gas is high, the basic commodities also follow. Sigh. Okay, lets take a photo first and let them go first. I am waiting for this road to clear before I cross to the other side.
When I reach the part of road where there is already bike lane, I feel safe. Here I got to stop at the side to take photos for this challenge. The Ayala Avenue today seems calm.
Its Friday at that. Usually, this day is busier than other days. It feels a bit strange.
I am thankful for this bike lane. I remembered that this was implemented when people were biking for work. When the jeepney was halted to operate because of pandemic. I sometimes ride jeepney when I don't feel like biking and also when the sun is unbearable. This time I am behind the jeepney which loading passengers. I have to wait when it goes, don't want to over take. Taking it easy.
Keep safe in your journey everyday, as I am also taking extra careful by not rushing and being calm. So, how is your morning commute?
Bye for now😊✌️🚲
