It was all raining day and night. There was this low pressure that said to become a typhoon just as I settled at our home. So I decided to visit first my friends house when it has not come.
I couldn't waste a day because I only have few days there. Its in the next barangay and I had to choose to go there by motorcycle ride which was a quite far compare to hiking. But that day I had my brothers time and asked him to tour me a bit. We passed many barangays before we reached my friends house. I had fun with the motorcycle ride, although the rode is not paved. I haven't been experience that for long. I thanked him for being kind to my request though he knew I better hike to the shortcut to reach the place faster.
I stayed with my friend's house and enjoyed the hospitality. I got to eat with them simple dishes and leftovers from their mother's birthday foods. I came late for the birthday but they had left me biko for I asked for it that I missed it so much. They really got me saved some at their refrigerator. I am touched.
I would never forget how good they are to me. They are my second family. I don't know when I will see this pretty smile again of Mana Seling. It was a shame that the last time I visited this house, her husband was still alive and I got to talk and laugh with him but now that I got to be back he was gone. That is why I treasured to go home and see people in my life everytime I get a chance. You never know when that person be there or no more. Time spent with family is never wasted.
I decided to get back to our house. My Nanay and Tatay maybe questioning why I didn't come home for days though they knew where I went. Its because the rain doesn't want to stop. I only have time to go when it stop for a while. I bid goodbye to all of them and thanked then for welcoming me. Hoping for another time soon.
My friend came with me. She has a friend and a cousin in my barangay to visit. We prepared to go and haven't found a motorcycle to go to town. We were going to our town first and that is where we got to ride a sidecar to our barangay. We walked and hiked the wet road passing every houses. Now,I had the chance to experience how hard to get to town when you don't have a personal vehicle. It is because it is not easy to hail motorcycle starting from the inner barangay. We walk, and we talk. Had doubts if ever we could ever ride when there was no sign of habal-habal on the road. We keep on going though. I actually not bothered by it, but my friend kept on asking if I was alright. She has not experience walking like this as she said. If only not for me, she didn't go on. I said its okay, and I honestly had fun with the hike. I kept on asking how they called its place.
Clips for keeps.
Some parts of the road is paved but most part are not. This is the barangay road of Paa going to Hilongos town. We found a motorcycle after we crossed the bridge of Makinhas. Its been an hour of walking and all was well.
We arrived our town and had some snacks.
Thats all for that day. Have a blessed day. See you on the next one.
