Hello hivemates!
How have you been?
I hope that all are well!
Today, I want to tell you about a good place that is very dear and close to the heart of my husband, where a lot of memories were made.
For my husband, Good Shepherd church is one of them. A lot of firsts happened here.
Recently, our family had a quick trip to this church. I can see the excitement in his eyes as if he’s trying to reminisce about some great things that happened here.
He guided us while we walked along the path, showing us some places that had a strong connection with him. We walked together while he would tell stories about some corners of this place.
We took that time to listen to him while looking at the views of the garden. I was imagining what he was sharing me, telling the stories of the past.
He said that this is where he had his first communion and where he served the church as a sacristan.
We passed by a chapel that has a peaceful vibe with great landscape and greens such as beautiful trees, and flowering plants. It’s a great place for reflection and remembering.
We also passed by an interesting well that added charm to the beauty of the place. It’s like the time in the past when people fetched some water.
He also showed us the main church where he used to go and pray. It was also a perfect time since the church choir was practicing their piece for the mass.
This little trip may not be so grand, yet it was meaningful for me and my family as it has a deep connection with my husband’s past.
When we left the place, I saw a gentle smile on my husband. He thanked me for being with him. Deep inside, I was thankful to him for bringing me and sharing the things of his past.
Thanks for reading my blog!
