There's a running joke here in Cebu post-Typhoon Odette that people are not looking for the President nor for relief goods but for ATMs and Starbucks instead. Well, you can blame the stickers for that, and I was one of those who endured the long queue to complete the required 18 and claim my prize before New Year's Eve.
This year, I chose the black Starbucks planner because of its neat case or portfolio. It's made of manmade leather, but it looks durable, which is a great plus since I plan to bring this with me wherever I go.
The interior layout of the planner case is quite simple and minimal, which is good so I can avoid putting unncessary stuff. There are two card slots and a pocket for a card or thin notepad at the left. The right is plain because that's where the planner notebook rests.
The planner has colorful illustrations, which I also like, especially this one about Sumatran tigers. Starbucks has specialty coffees, and one of them is from Sumatra. Sumatra is quite special to me because that's where I worked before, and the tiger is my spirit animal and my Chinese zodiac sign.
Below are some pics of the other pages in the planner:
At the back is a couple of dot-grid pages for notes.
There's a monthly layout, so you can see your month's activities in a nutshell.
Then there's the horizontal weekly layout to jot down your plans and appointments. This type of layout is great for those who don't like keeping a rigid or hourly schedule of their daily tasks. Hence, I decided to give this planner to my sister. I already have an A5 Muji planner with a vertical weekly layout, which is perfect for my class and meeting schedules.
Instead, I am going to use this classy Starbucks portfolio with my Itoya B6 5mm-grid notebook, which is my catch-all planner and notebook. I called it "Coffee and Tea" because I usually write on it while having a drink.
The pen holder is also perfect for my red-and-gold Pilot Vanishing Point fountain pen. The color of which is in great contrast with the black material.
And the perfect portfolio companion? The Starbucks pouch, of course. My sister gave this to me as a Christmas gift. It's the right size for an extra fountain pen or two. It can also fit most mobile phones.
And there you go. I have just completed my organizer set, and I'm ALL SET for 2022. Bring it on! Cheers! π₯πΈβ€
