Hello, Hive friends especially to Asean Hive Community. I have joined the community long time ago, but this is my first ever post here as the weekly challenge got me in excitement. Yay pets! Just for everyone know, I interact with pets more than humans for some strange reason.
Before I proceed, hats of to the people behind this group headed by So let's get it on.
I came across this challenge by while I was scrolling my feed. Link below:
ASEAN Hive Community Challenge 👨💻 #9 - 🐇🐠 Share Your Pets With ASEAN Hive 🐈🦔
You know humans are fundamentally friendly creatures. Like it or not, we are social animals. However, figuring out how to live calmly, our pets could teach us some things.
Without further ado, I'll introduce to you my wonder aspin dog - Sofia!
ASPIN - typically a Philippine stray dog/indigenous mixed-breed dogs.
Meet Sofia
I think I have written about her somewhere, but for those who doesn't know, Sofia came to our lives just a week prior to pandemic. That was February of 2020. My old-lady neighbor was gifted a puppy by her friend. Since my neighbor doesn't like dogs, she decided to give it to me. I was hesitant a that time and really had no plans of getting another one since my last dog passed away a few years ago. My daughter however insisted she's going to take care of her and love her like a family member. So I said, "Okay, I'll adopt her".
(Sofia in the house on her first day of adoption)
On her first night with us, she was a little cranky- maybe looking for her siblings or her mom or could be hungry or wanted to pee. I actually did not have a good sleep that night due to her crying. But as days went by, she started being clingy.
We started taking her for beach walks, walks in the woods, travel to the farm at mom's and even when we go to coffee shops and restaurants. I swear, she's a sweetheart.
Sometimes she can be a very nosy neighbor too! I told her listening to other people's conversation is rude but she always ignore me lol.
Other times, she's sneaky when no one's looking around. Busted! This is why I couldn't find my sock! Silly dog!
Sofia is a very happy kind of dog. Sometimes, she's too hyper, but most of the time, very friendly. She licks every stranger who comes visit the house. I mean she loves everyone. One thing I've learned from her that hard to find in humanity.
There are different kinds of love in this world. There is unconditional love of parents, the upbeat love of a friend, and the romantic love shared among couples. Most people will encounter one, while possibly not every one of the three of these in the course of their life. I have encountered them all. The other love that is dependably present in my life is the never-ending love Sofia is giving me and my family. She loves me perpetually, with next to no limits or limits. The greatest amount of endless and love exists in this world. Sofia can recognize my mindsets from essentially being around me.
Presently, Sofia lives at my mom's at the farmland for the reason that mom lives alone and she needs a companion. Sofia is doing awesome being mom's best friend. I could tell good things about her and prolly would take a day or two.
So anyway, Sofia asked me to post this for her (holding our family picture taken last Christmas) because she has a hard time typing without using her paws. Such a brat!
She said she wanted to make all the dog lover hooman friends out there smile and send them some puppy love on their feeds. She also wishes she could give y'all puppy love hugs. She hopes she made you giggle today while reading and would like you to remember that life may be dark and stormy right now, but the sunshine always comes back. Woof woof!
He also says pictures of adorable dogs just makes life better. I couldn’t argue that.
I am sure a lot of dog lovers can relate. It's priceless!
That's it. I hope I followed all the community rules. Sofia says thank y'all for reading until the end.
