I would think you might want to cook them first so the fluff up and fill you a bit more. I think you can do it either way though. Jovi used to tear the crap out of toys. She wouldn't last more than a day before there was stuffing all over. We finally got rid of most of her toys the other day. All but two of them. We kept her oldest ones for the memories.
