Being an adult means taking on responsibilities and living a life different from how we used to live. There are times when we forget to enjoy and focus on our responsibilities. So, it is a blessing to have friends who understand it and also make sure to spend some time with you at moments you need most.
It has been months since I have seen my friends, so when they messaged me to go to the beach one afternoon, I said yes. They picked me up at home, and we went to San Miguel beach just before sunset.
We bought some food first before we headed to the beach. We brought our foldable table and chairs. After getting our food, we went to the shore and prepared our table. We have some nachos, barbecue, and fries.
We bought these from the food stalls near the beach. They are budget-friendly, and many customers buy from them, which led us to believe they're delicious.
As soon as we got to the shore, we just prepared everything on our small foldable table. We bought some beers and chips from the convenience store nearby, as we wanted to have a chill afternoon.
The beautiful sky was saying hello to us, and the cold ocean breeze made the moment even more perfect. Indeed, the best place to be when bonding with friends.
We started drinking and having random conversations about life. We were here to talk about recent life events and our epic experiences. It's like catching up on our lives, making sure we don't miss special moments and core memories.
We are laughing and talking deeply as we finish bottle by bottle. It was the best time to talk about dreams and plans for the next few years of our lives. Even though it took us months before being together again, this moment was worth it and treasured.
