Working in the corporate world may be tiring and frustrating at times, especially when deadlines are coming, tasks are piling up, and additional workloads are getting in the way. But it is not just all about them. Working in the office made me connect with amazing and brilliant people. I was able to meet my workmates and build a strong bond with them as I spend most of my days in the office.
My colleagues and I wanted to prove that we are beyond the paperwork and deadlines, so we planned a night getaway at a resort during the holiday season. We booked this resort a week before, and we got everything prepared just in time. We went to the resort after work hours, and we planned on an overnight stay.
Some of our officemates are fur parents, so they brought their pets with them. We are staying in a cabin for the night. It was a good place for us, as we were a group of fifteen people. We needed a whole house to accommodate us. I managed to take a mirror shot while I was inside the cabin, and while everyone was busy setting up the place.
After organizing my stuff inside the room, I went outside to check out everyone. Some are cooking, the boys just started drinking, and some of them are playing on the pool table.
I also noticed that some of our food items are already set up on a long table. We have some rice, roasted chicken, pancit, and desserts. Also, we brought alcohol and drinks for everyone to enjoy tonight.
We have decided to eat after setting up everything. But first, we needed to take a group photo. Everyone gathered in front of the table, and we just gave our best pose. We were so excited for tonight's getaway, and you can see it through our eyes and smiles in this photo.
After eating our dinner, it was time for the night's party. We have prepared some drinks, and we are very excited about diving into the pool. We started the conversation, laughing together and sharing life stories. It was an amazing night for all of us.
Of course, how will I forget taking selfies while enjoying the getaway? Here are a few snaps from me.
