My partner and I have been embracing our adulthood by working hard for our future, which means being responsible on our own. There are days when we spend most of our time working and hustling on our own, but we also make time to enjoy ourselves. It is either we treat ourselves by buying things we want or going out to eat together. Today, I will be sharing our dinner at a Korean restaurant in town and how we enjoyed the flavorful dishes together after we came home from work. It is our way to give ourselves the best treat after being tired all day.
When we got to the restaurant, we filled our table with the meat to grill and side dishes to enjoy. We also grabbed some rice and lettuce to make everything perfect.
One of my favourite side dishes is the fishcake, so I grabbed a lot for the two of us. Actually, there are a lot of choices, but we only got those we will enjoy eating. Of course, we will never forget the kimchi. We just added some japchae and potato marbles for extra side dishes.
Another thing that we loved about this restaurant is how they also have chicken kebab. We enjoyed grilling them as the flavour was new to our taste buds. We tried them and loved them too, aside from the meat we grilled.
My partner got busy grilling while I enjoyed eating. He was the one in charge of the pan, while my chopsticks kept getting side dishes and pork wrapped in lettuce.
We enjoyed this dinner out together, and we had nothing else in mind but savouring the food and the moment. It's also the perfect time to talk about how our days went and our plans for the upcoming days. I also love having this kind of bonding with my partner since I get to talk to him about a lot of things - and good food is just a bonus.
