We are not from a wealthy family in terms of finances but as her parents we tried to show to her the support she needs in everything that she do.
This is our Aia, our one and only daughter (for now because I am not yet ready to have another😆)
When her school announces that there will be a United Nation Day I am having a hard time thinking of what she should wear because if we are going to rent a costume it will cost a lot. Thank God when I ask her Naynay (my aunt) she gave me an idea about Hawaiian costume. She ask me to buy the materials needed to form this one. The sash was made from a recycled sash too which I received when I joined pageants before. I just printed the letters H A W A I I and paste it. Her blouse was made by my aunt and her cute yellow Hawaiian Hula Dancer Grass Skirt with Flower Leis was made by me and her papa it was really a joint force. Her flower necklace was from our old decoration at home. Her bracelets was made from head band which I bought for a cheap price.
Thanks to her cousin also for pampering her with a glittery fresh make up look. This is her final look and she's ready to take up the school stage with pride because what she wears was an explicit work of love. She is with my younger brother. They both have the same costume.
Joy reflects if we put love in everything that we do. My daughter may not have all the fancy clothes and costume but her smile and confidence says it all. I am more than proud to be her mother. It gives me a lot of reason so work even harder.
