It takes a few minutes of wrapping it and as I finished, I proceed to look for any fruits grows. The next fruits I've seen and found is this small green papaya, finally as many years of waiting for this plant to produced fruits and finally it already have. This kind of fruit don't need to wrapped with sack and it only let it grows until it will ripe and good to pick and harvest. I really not intend to plant this and it only grows here and I don't cut this so it can produced lots of fruits in the future, and now it was already have.
Aside of that, I also doubled check the areas to see if there are coconuts left and not found during harvesting activities. Lucky, I got lots of it from the thick bushes and I placed it near at the house, good thing I brought sack and I can carried lots of it going back home. We carried those coconuts manually and we do not used cart because we don't have carabao and a cart to used. That is why it takes a few days before the hauling was completely finished. Today, I had few vacant time to wandered here at the lot and we kept waiting to finish husking.
After a few days of drying the coconut meat using plain metal sheets, finally it already shows the good output. As I checked it, the coconut meat was already nearly dry because of the intense heat under the sun. This afternoon, we will classified those dry coconut meat and separated it to other sack and places inside of the house so it can avoided wet and moist because of the cold morning weather. It takes almost an hour of filling those coconut meat at the top of the metal sheets and we carefully piled it so it can dry very fast.
This young coconut plants needs to replant, and we still do not have enough time to do it because of a busy situation. By next day, we will tried to do this next activity so our place will be more productive. This group of young coconut plants here are placed many months already and we still do not have time to plant it.
Everytime I visited here, gathering lots of firewoods is also very important. While exploring the place, I also looked for any firewoods and cut into shorter length so it can be easily put in the sack and carry lots of it back home. Those long and dry leaves will produced into a broom sticks to be sell this coming sunday at the market. Gladly I learned how to make broom sticks from my Grandma and it will be useful today for business purposes.
We are planning to produced charcoal out of coconut shells but there is someone who went to our place and asked us if we sell those shells. We don't have big charcoal oven to use that is why we are going to sell it by next day. As for that, we put all coconut shells in one place so it will easily to hauled once when the buyer will came.
Being Productive is very important for us here, we earned few money and help us to buy our basic family needs.
Until next post, have a nice day to all of us.
