Hello everyone... Hello Hivers! How you all doing today?
It was so hot this day that, my family decided to go out of town. We rarely go out with the kids because of the time and financial constraints. Since our small town has no malls, boarded on our tricycle we agreed to go to my husbands town which is about 27 kilometers and 25 - 30 minutes drive. The road is so quite because most people stayed at home and doesn't want to get sunburn. 😁
We got unlucky when we had a flat tire, but fortunately enough for us, we where at the nearest vulcanizing shop. Thankfully, the kids understands and still smiling and waiting at the side of the road. Looking at cars and trucks passing and their guessing game of what is the name of that vehicle. It made me realized, we were not like this when we were young! I don't remember us (with my siblings) going out with our parents! It makes me feel sad, that we didn't get the chance to experience these kinds of simple bonding with our family. Life is tough, and I don't want my kids to feel that way.
Busy streets indicates that we have arrived at our destination. Even harder to find area to park our tricycle.
It was so hot outside that when you enter the mall it's so refreshing. We roamed around this not so big mall, we let the kids roamed around too. We went to the shoe section, to the kitchen and home furniture and then, to the kids section. We didn't buy any we we're just looking or should I say, 'window shopping'.
We get tired of roaming around and end up ordering a cold coffee latte and a burger at a fast food chain. After they eat, the kids were running around up and down the stairs! I let them be, this is just for a day, that they get to go out and have fun outside.
We continue our window shopping. Walking, looking at display thingsItalic (I hope the sales lady will not get mad of us not buying.)
It was so tiring and yet very fulfilling to see the kids happy! We went back change outfits. And to wrapped up the day, we enjoyed the ice cream in cone at the local store. I hope the kids remember this and cherish this memory forever. This is one of the many things we will be having soon. I also wish for all the parents out there to spend time with your kids. For our children, no matter how small is this, it's worth it!
All pictures were mine and were edited using my phone.
Thank you also for getting this part to read my post. Have a blessed day everyone!
