The biggest challenge for stroke patients is not the sickness itself, it's the post stroke recovery. The recovery process are usually different from individuals depending on their level of damage caused by the stroke. No hemorrhage doesn't mean there's no damage to the brain, the temporary lack of oxygen can still kill millions of brain cells, that cannot be recovered.
I'm not trying to be a doctor because I'm not, but if I were to share with you my condition, it will be like an old Quantum Bigfoot 4GB hard drive in my head. One fine day, there was a stroke happened and my head got a shock. So happened the read write head in the hard drive bumped into a small cluster and causes physical dent to the disc. So the doctor ran a scandsk /f (ok only if you're playing with the DOS6 and Win95 era), put a B remark on the bad sector to avoid using the damaged cluster. Cut the long story short, the damage part of the harddrive(the part of my brain that damaged by the stroke) host some file, so happened those are the configuration file of how to move the left side of my body(could have other files in there, I won't know what am I missing until I try to find them in that folder).
Fortunately, it's not a FORMAT command applied, generally I'm still me. I have a few files being purged during the hard drive repair. The damaged cluster is now "bad sector" and my brain won't read them anymore 😂 I still have my other food hardware with me, except I need to reconfigure the computer to function properly.
So, the government engineers are well experienced since they fixed many computers everyday. Their "shop" looks old, but they have all the equipment to fix your human computer. I was given some CFG files to play with, so I can AUTOEXEC.BAT myself. My operating may not run as smooth as it used to, but trust me I'm working my way there, relearning my motor skill, tuning my operating system to readapt with the updated drivers, instead of the standard driver WDM gave me. Totally reminds me back in the 90s, when we try to watch PRONO with a computer on a S3 Trio 64 graphics cards, if the driver are Standard VGA, when playing an MP4, one frame you saw something goes in, another frame you saw liquid splashed everywhere and that's the end 😂 physiotherapy is the process of finding the correct driver files, patch it in so I can function properly.
Whilst I am trying to find ways to copy . There's no shortcut. Apparently, we have a unique brain for every individual. I don't think like you because I'm not you. So, there's no way we can copy . Your motor skill to my brain. The only way we can do is to relearn. Whilst i was going over to the computer repair (medical record) logbook, I passed by the hospital mosque and saw their morgue. There's a cadaver carrier parked beside the prep room quietly. It totally reminds me how much blessing I've got from this ordeal. I could be one of them whom fried their CPU.
Yes. It sounded funny. But it takes damn a lot of courage for someone to admit these are all my own wrong doings, they're the consequences of what I commited to. Over the past decades, the amount of high cholesterol food I've been taking, the amount of cigarettes I've been consuming, the number of late night partying I've been wasting myself in, I'm just glad I can see the sun again, and have a chance walking by the roadside thinking about all these, after witnessing the covered gurney there.
No, this is NOT a health recovery journal. I am merely sitting here writing down what's going through my mind after the recent physical session at the physio gym. No one should take their life granted. I'm the youngest in my family tree amongst my generation. I've seen enough older cousins passed on, and never thought of how close I am to never see the lights again.
Oh wait... Aren't we all get this from the movie? Whatever you do, don't look at the lights 😂 no I don't have the tunnel experience. I believe the files being bad sector before I even realized it. Except the hospital ceiling lights, there's no other lights I want to look at. I hope you find this piece amusing, at the same time gives you enough warning of how crazy shit can go wrong despite we're young and look healthy from the outside. Do your cardio, eat clean, and stay healthy my friends.
