Malaysia, is known for having multiple race, multiple culture, and different religion. We don't "choose" to live this way, but our ancestors came to the straits of Malacca to trade, to live, to survive in this land of opportunity, it has no problem for the past couple of hundred years, I don't believe it is a problem now.
Thanks to politician and digital era, racism issue is now being disguised as religion problem. Politician using these unique opportunity to gain publicity and bias towards religion celebration. One of the latest development being, Christmas ban as Muslims doesn't celebrate Christmas.
Seriously, non Muslims doesn't celebrate Eid Al Fitrus, is the government and or political party going to say something about it? Ofcourse they're not. They knew majority of the population in this country are Muslims. Being they go to mosque or not, this is part of the strategy to present themselves as the political party really care for the Muslims population.
See how those assholes play their religion game? As a Christian, as a Catholic, I too don't agree in commercializing Christmas celebration. We all agree this celebration was about the birth of Jesus Christ, but if you dug deep, this is actually an entirely different kind of celebration, such as winter solstice, Pagan Germanic and many more years end celebrations.
So yeah, thanks to the government and politicians, you can no longer enjoy Christmas dinner in a halal restaurant no more 😝 if you book a hotel thinking of a short romantic getaway with your love ones, be sure to eat outside because your hotel restaurant doesn't have anything related to Christmas.
