For some reasons, I think God must be answering prayer, everything falls in the right place, at the right time, to the right people. I didn't manage to attend the actual event of hive-fest, due to work schedule and family commitment, however I am still able to meet up with great people.
The story began from the early morning of Friday where I am wearing my jacket and model for my company gift jacket to our client. Supposedly I was going to drive out and deliver them. But then, in the afternoon, the sky turned dark, seriously dark. Added with Trump troops blocking some of the major roads in Kuala Lumpur, naturally my clients called off the appointments, so that leave me enough time to sit in the office until finishes office hour.
My first hiver of the day is not always the wife, usually it's . Not that we have some unusual relationship with her, but usually before I leave the house, my wife is usually still asleep and I try not to bother the wife. That's too much usually, because I usually don't see more than 2 hivers in a day, the wife and my colleague
. However, today is u usual because I also manage to meet up with
for he first time since many years ago.
We were originally planned to visit Nasi Lemak Bumbung, however the place "Bumbung" meaning, they don't have a roof 😅 since it's raining, we decided to change destination on last minute. Fortunately we found New Paris Restaurant, and I get to meet with my fellow Malaysian hiver which I haven't seen her in ages.
Together with us is (not in particular order or in any sort),
and her two very beautiful daughter, can't remember their names as they haven't been actively posting for years.
Dinner was epic, we had asparagus, sweet & sour chicken, rice wine clamp shells, stout simmer pork ribs, watermelon chicken, fried squid, Thai style prawn, claypot pork belly. Food is exceptionally good in my opinion. The gang said it was marvelous as well, and I certainly hope it's true.
After the dinner, we have some free time to hit the dessert shop. By that time I was a little tired and started to grown restless. I'm not in any bad mood, and a bowl of peanut paste actually sent me a sugar rush and I am happily sending everyone back their room and take some rest.
