ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #158 Forever Friends
Good day! I hope all is well with you. This is my first time participating in a challenge and when I saw the challenge for this week, I got excited because I finally got the chance to share with you my relationship with my friends. So now lets start reading our journey and how we built our friendship from scratch.
When I started my first year in college, it was the time of pandemic where classes are only held online. As a first year I am quiet in the group chat they made or should I say I can't relate to their topics at all. That's when I became acquainted with Wilcres Quitara since she can't also relate to their topics at all. She said that " who likes to be my friend here?" So I replied to her and said "I want to be friends with you" and that's the start of our wonderful friendship. We sent private messages and we get to know to each other—we have shared interests like drawing or sketching, making arts and crafts. She has a beautiful singing voice and I have a talent for dancing.
Later on I became friends with these amazing people but the funny thing is that they use to have different groups of friends but because their interest doesn't align so they got into conflicts thus our group is created. We bonded and shared our passions. We got to know ourselves—likes and don'ts although it's only on the internet at first because face-to-face classes wasn't available at that time.
On our second year of college, we got the chance to have a limited face-to-face class, we couldn't contain the excitement we felt. Finally we were able to see each other personally and from that moment we knew that our friendship will last long. It felt like we've known each other for a long time, our bonds deepend and our soul connects.
Our group has a singer, dancer and artist but not all of us are blessed with such talent. Thankfully, I know how to dance and I am crafty. I remember the time when we joined a dancing contest, it was a funny memory since we only joined the contest for the sake of our department haha. There are 3 departments that our state university has, which is department of hotel and management, IT's, department of education BEED and department of education BSED. Since there was no other option but to joined the contest although some of us are not talented as long as there was a representative of the department—we joined. When we were practicing our moves, we need to keep repeating it, as I said not all of our members are dancers haha. The day had come, we need to show them the results of our training, when we got to the stage it feels like our soul left our body. My hands were shaking and the only thing that I kept in mind was that, as long as we finish this performance I will never be in the same contest again. They also said the same thing I had in mind, they will never join dancing contest again but all in all we enjoyed and had fun.
I considered my friends as my buddies, they never let you feel like you're out of place. When we got extra time, we always had our fun and we love to eat out. I can say that I am in a perfect place when I am with them even though they are loud and noisy however they are also the most trusted friends that I have. We help and lift each other, making sure that no one is left behind. I am forever greatful for the love I get from them. I will always love them unconditionally.
