It has been a stressful week lately since my daughter and I caught a bad cold. And synthetic drugs has never been my first option. And whether we admit it or not, it's a fact of life that sometimes illness is something inevitable inspite of keeping the good balance, good lifestyle, being careful of the food we eat, and being watchful the way we think because this affect our health too; It's just inevitable and leaves us mystified. It was really a difficult time for me, every time, and whenever my daughter got sick and this time we are suffering same time. The only choice I had was to be strong. Doing groceries, cooking, and washing dishes, then monitored my daughter's health status. Despite all that I had conducted classes. That was like I had no time to listen to my body's drama- that had made the bad cold disappeared in no time, two days! no kidding! Then we learn to appreciate when in good health. So today, I thought of sparing some time to blog about a relaxing, beautiful place where I relaxed after that exhausting days. Wishing you good health everyone!
Pulangbato Falls (Redrock),Valencia, Dumaguete city, Philippines
In our native dialect 'pula' means red, while 'bato' means rock. True to its name.
I feel so blessed to enjoy this amazing nature.This is just twenty five minutes drive from my home. The water is very refreshing, maybe because Valencia is 60 percent hilly and mountainous that influenced a cool temperature.
Because there were few people enjoying the water, I still managed to found a way to discreetly took this close up photo for you guys to see its uniqueness of the red rocks and its layered structures. The rocks were covered with sulfur deposite thus, making is appear red. No worry guys, the color wont stain your clothes.
It is also called Twin Falls meaning there are two cascades coming from different two sources. One is clear, narrow drop while the other is the Famed Pulangbato.
I would also like to emphasize the thick foliage of wild plants, trees and the beauty of giant fern trees that sorrounds the waterfalls. So soothing for the eyes to look at. This is one of my favorite places to hang out. I have seen the fern when it was still little and leggy, that time I would watched and took photos of the waterfalls from afar standing at the restobar. Now, It's even more lively with those trees growing and providing the tourists shades.
So you won't get lost. This is spotted about 300 meters away from the area. I had an unusual encountered of a white-yellow-pink colored butterfly a little smaller as my palm when I parked the motorbike here to have this photo. The color was mindblowing.The best moment I ever had that I took the time watching its fairy beauty while its fading away.
You will see its luscious greenery of natural beauty from the entrance. They have provided spacious parking area for vehicles too! I would like to mention how clean are their restrooms. They also have unlimited clean fresh waters.
There was just few tourists around when I arrived on rainy morning but then some people few came a little later in the afternoon.
If you are planning for a vacation and you prefer such kind of this place, they also have units for rent daily or monthly. Very convenient for people like me, working online,because they also have internet connection here if ever you plan for an overnight stay or longer.
This stairway would lead you to the restobar where you can grab cold drinks or snacks while enjoying the breathtaking view of the twin falls.

Like I said, It was a rainy morning and that most people do not enjoy rain like I do. First, It's my nature, I enjoy feeling the rain touches my skin and its soothing effect. Secondly, it's less traffic when raining. Empty space, feeling like I own the place.
They also have food and drinks services. No worries if you are on healthy diet because they slao have fresh fruit smoothies available. And for meat lover, they have meat dish. In fact,There are variety of menu available.
This unit is also for rental. For what I know, they have different room accomodation like; Deluxe room with deck super view, Gazibo house that can accomodate upto 5 -15 persons. Though I haven't stayed here overnight yet because my home is just 25 minutes drive away. Imagine, you will have this view while taking your morning coffee or tea in the morning. Also the staff are very friendly, approachable, and accomodating. I am very spoiled of their good service. My usual; I ordered food and coofee first then I used to find myself sitting under the bridge or stone balancing or staring at the waterfalls mentally blank, Lol. Funny but true. Then they would always find me and deliver my food. They put extra effort to make you feel important. So no doubt you would defenitely love the place and the people. Who would not want that? We all want to be loved and feel important.
