Our adventure began with a breathtaking morning view, capturing the serene beauty of the mountains before us. The journey started in Hanoi, and we traveled to Sapa by bus. The journey, though quite long at around 5 hours, was well worth it. The fresh mountain air and the cool, pleasant atmosphere set the tone for the rest of our trip.
Upon reaching Cat Cat Village, we encountered some unexpected challenges. Due to ongoing construction, transport wasn’t allowed to enter directly. This meant we had to walk along a narrow, rocky road, which was a bit dangerous because of falling rocks from nearby trees. Fortunately, the walk was just about two minutes before we found a taxi that could take us deeper into the village.
Inside Cat Cat Village, we were welcomed by picturesque spots perfect for photography. The first location had a unique wooden structure resembling a hand, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Another standout spot featured heart-shaped decorations made from branches and flowers, ideal for capturing the romantic ambiance of the area.
As we continued exploring, we noticed an abundance of stalls selling traditional Vietnamese clothing, blankets, and souvenirs. Each item showcased the rich culture and craftsmanship of the local people, adding a vibrant touch to the village’s charm. Unfortunately, I do not have the images of the stalls because I was busy shopping around… oops….
This part of our journey was a mix of challenges and rewarding experiences. In my next post, I’ll share more about the mesmerizing Cat Cat Waterfall, which added even more beauty to our visit.
