During my recent trip to Hanoi, I had the amazing opportunity to visit the Rong May Glass Bridge, a breathtaking destination perched high above the majestic O Quy Ho Pass. This adventure was not just about the views but also about the journey and the unique experience of being at one with nature at over 2,200 meters above sea level.
Getting There: A Scenic Journey
The adventure began at the main gate, where a series of van rides awaited to transport us up the mountain. The process is designed thoughtfully to help visitors adapt to the altitude. The first van took us midway, offering scenic views and a chance to acclimate. Then, a second van brought us further up to the ticket center.
At the ticket center, we were greeted by a towering glass elevator, which carried us to the peak where the bridge is located.
A Vibrant Welcome: The Rainbow Staircase
Before stepping onto the iconic glass bridge, we encountered a vibrant rainbow staircase—a perfect spot for a memorable photo. The colorful steps seemed to symbolize the vibrant adventure that lay ahead, with every step bringing us closer to the clouds.
Walking in the Sky
The glass bridge itself is a marvel of engineering and design. Spanning a dizzying height, it offers unobstructed views of the lush mountains and valleys below. Walking on the transparent surface, I felt as if I was floating in the sky. The weather was on our side, with clear skies allowing us to fully appreciate the panoramic beauty around us.
The experience of strolling along the bridge, surrounded by nature’s grandeur, was both thrilling and serene. At the end of the bridge, we took some time to capture the moment with photographs, preserving memories of this once-in-a-lifetime journey.
