This one is a water fountain where people get the water from there. Dont know whether it is clean or not as we are told not to drink the tap water although after boiling it. It is safer to drink mineral water there..
These 4 pictures is my first stop of sightseeing place since other places was still closed. The time is around 7.30am only.
This is my first meal in Turkey breakfast. We did not really have any choices as like I said in front, still early and most of the shop are close. So, we simply went in this shop to ate something before moving on to our trip. This was their Big Breakfast hahaha…. I am quite shock as what I knew Big Breakfast from Western is quite nice but this is not in expectation. In Turkey, every meal, we get to see bread and the soup and also salad. These 3 is a must in all of their meal. But for me, I dont really like to eat those things. We also ordered a cup of capuccino. Well, at least that taste good to me.
After that, we went to The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque. It is so big and so pretty inside. With all those lights, most of them who went in was tourist. Before going in, it is a must to take off our shoes and put it in the rack. It doesnt matter whether you are a Muslim or not but it is a must to cover your hair using scarf if you would want to go into the mosque for a visit. Of course, no shorts or short skirts are allowed. It’s really quite pretty inside and love how they put all the lights around.
Thats all for my Day 1. I ended it around 3.00pm since it is very tiring due to straight going out to play after reaching Turkey. So we decided to go back and check in to our hotel and have a good rest before going for Day 2.
