Now that my girlfriend had already back abroad for work, I am now also going back to my normal life activities which is my Ministry for the Lord. Even though I still do the Ministries God has given to me while my girlfriend is still here with us, I have spent more time with her since she will be with us for just two weeks for her vacation.
While my girlfriend was still here, we have did the Vacation Bible School for just three days and I am very happy for we have organized this one most especially that we have did this for the Kids while they're not schooling. I thank God for the opportunity that He has given to us to teach this little Kids about the Bible through this program we have in our Church.
I will be going to share with all of you the three days event we have from the starting day until the graduation day and it was truly an amazing event indeed. But before I get started, let me share once again my greetings and thanksgiving to all of you my supports from all over the world, from the community members and Admins, then to all the Curators who keeps on dropping by on my blog posts.
In the past few months, I have joined a seminar about this Vacation Bible School together with some of my friends and fellow Pastors and I thank God for I'll be able to join the said seminar for everything that I've learned I can used for the the upcoming Vacation Bible School to be held and organized in our Church and I will be the one going to lead and facilitate.
For the past few days before our Vacation Bible School event to happen, we have already talked and planned for this together with some of the young people and most especially to my Senior Pastor and his wife, who will also going to facilitate and will prepare all the materials that we will be needed during our classes.
Finally the day has come for the first day of our Vacation Bible School and we thank and praise God for we have more or less 20 Kids had joined our classes as a result of our house to house visit at the Barangay to see and know if the parents will allow their kids to join our Vacation Bible School classes for three days, and praise God for today many of them responded and allowed their kids.
That was around 9:00 in the morning when we have started our class session and as we arrived at the waiting shed where we will be doing our classes, the kids were already waiting for us as they were very excited for the classes that we will be doing.
We started the class with an opening prayer then introduced myself together with the young people who were my assistants and volunteers for this important event we have today. The kids were very attentive to everything we have teach unto them especially when I tell to them a short story about the life of Moses from his birth as first lesson to them.
We have also shared to them different artworks activities to see and know who are best artist or best artistic student to be given during the graduation day. We have seen many of them very artistic and have done very well the tasks that we have given unto them. That was around 11:30 in morning when we have ended our first day of class of our vacation bible school.
We are now in the second day of our Vacation Bible School and we went to the venue of our class session at around 8:00 in the morning. We went very early as we have noticed that the Kids were very early and so we need also to be more early but as we arrived at the waiting shed, a few Kids were already waiting for us and that really motivates us the most.
After a few minutes, some of the Kids were also started going here with us and we have seen in their eyes that they were very happy and excited to join again in our VBS Classes. After a while, we have then also started our class session with an opening prayer in which I have asked who know how to pray and someone had volunteered to prayed.
I have then started sharing to them the continuation of the life story of Moses which we can read in the Bible. We have used t he life Story of Moses as it is very nice story to tell with the Kids, and I am happy for they really listened to me and in every time I asked them, they also answered the questions very well.
Last part will be again the artworks activities and we have divide the Kids based on their age and they will be having different tasks to do. For the Kids 6 years old below, they will only be doing coloring activities but for the Kids ages 7 to 13 years old will be doing the paper mosaic. As the kids were doing all the tasks that we have given to them, they were very happy and they have done it very well. We ended our second day with full of happiness and they've done the class very well.
After the two days of our VBS Classes, finally today will be the graduation day and the Kids will be receiving certificate and ribbon or reward from all of the things they have done in two days. We will having our graduation day celebration in our Church just after the WM Fellowship, and so we have scheduled it to happen in the afternoon by 2:00 .
It was around 1:00 in the afternoon, together with some of the young people we have come to the waiting shed where the Kids are already waiting for us. As we are also waiting for the WM Fellowship to end, we have also teach the Kids of their presentation during the graduation and also shown to them a video animation about the life of Moses just to make them alive until the time has finally come for us to go to the Church.
We are now in our Church and the program is now started with a processional, starts with the VBS Tarpaulin, the Christian Flag, The Philippine Flag, then the Students, Teachers and Volunteers. We have few things to do in our graduation program and one of it is the dance presentation that we have teach to the Kids and they have done it well which they really looks very cute and adorable.
The last part will be the giving of Certificate and most especially the giving of awards for all the Kids that are really participative and have done very well during the class. What we have also done is, we have also give Ribbon to every Kids in order for them to be more encourage and makes them happy, and yes as they received all their awards, we can see the happiness in their eyes and also to us.
Lastly, we have take a group picture as our remembrance for this most important event we have with this little and cute Kids who have joined our Vacation Bible School. We have ended our graduation ceremony with a prayer led by my Senior Pastor, and we just prayed that they will grow with fear and love in the Lord. After all of this, it is now time for snack time with the help of our WM Department.
