Greetings everyone.
Last day, I visited some Sitios here in Misamis Oriental, this is one of my hobbies and to observed the place including the culture and way of living in the Province. This is a quick tour to all of us.
My first photo was a green place of sitio makawa. I found the place very relaxing because of the cool place brought by the trees and wild-plants. Sometimes, there are hunters who went in this place trying to catch any wild animals for their food. There are a lot of tall trees and wild plants can be found here.
As i continue to walk around, I seen this fascinating flowers grew under the bamboo trees. Others make this as their shampoo and it contains a really good smell and it is good for our hair.
There are a lot colors of this flowers and one I know is the color red. This kind of plants grews in a cool place only just like under the bushes and tall trees.
There are a lot of native mushrooms here in our country. One of this is in the pictures I shown to all of you. This is not edible mushroom and it is good for the form and colors only. It also grews in the cool places just like under the tress, rotten log and under the tall grasses.
Only few of the mushroom can be eaten and it is seasonal just particularly of the Month of July and August. There are a lot of this kind of plant here in our Province.
This is what we called Dabong and it comes from the bamboo plant. We love to cook dabong and it is good for adobo recipé. People plant this usually near at the river to prevent soil eroded. The hairlike color around the plant is what we called Dapaw and it is very itchy to the skin.
Before it cook it should be pilled the outer part of this plant and boiled it for 45 minutes.
As i continue to wandering around the place, I seen this carabao enjoying in this muddy puddle. We called this Tunaan in local term.
I have an enjoyable experience wandering around the place. Until next posts. Have a good day to all of us.
