yeah I don't think there is anything that you can do over here that would cost that much and thanks for this reminder about how extraordinary the prices are for things in USA. Years ago I had to bring Nadi in for emergency surgery that included whatever it is called when they put the dog to sleep, all the medical care that comes before and after for 2 days, a very specialized piece of endoscopic robot equipment and a very talented person to operate it. This combined with all the tests and analysis ended up costing me less than $250. Like you, I would have paid whatever it cost but this was just surprising to me.
