Hello everyone, back again with me indra in my new post, on this occasion, I will share the moments of my journey on the way to the Peukan Biluy waterfall.
Indonesia has been blessed by God with extraordinary natural scenery. Starting from mountains, underwater parks, beaches, waterfalls, meadows, lakes, and other beautiful scenery, all are in Indonesia. Almost every province has a natural landscape with its own uniqueness. One of the provinces in Indonesia that is blessed with beautiful natural scenery is Aceh, a province located at the westernmost tip of the island of Sumatra.
Talking about natural scenery in Aceh, do you know about Peukan Biluy Waterfall? Maybe this name will sound a little foreign to those who live outside Aceh or even outside the island of Sumatra, but this is not the case for those who live in Tanah Rencong. I think those who live in Aceh are familiar with the name of this waterfall. Because this waterfall used to have a very charming view, so it is often a tourist destination to spend their weekends. But that is only a piece of the story that has passed, and the Peukan Biluy Waterfall which is now much different and almost swallowed up by nature.
Administratively, Peukan Biluy Waterfall is located in Biluy village, Darul Kamal sub-district, Aceh Besar district, Aceh, or the exact location is at the foot of Bukit Barisan. To get to the location of Peukan Biluy Waterfall, visitors who come from the capital city of Aceh, Banda Aceh, only need to travel for 20 minutes with a distance of about 12 kilometers.
Adequate access makes it easy for visitors to find the location of Peukan Biluy Waterfall. However, to get to the location, visitors still have to climb 172 stairs from the vehicle stop location, with a slope of about 45 degrees.
