Hello all friends.
I am back again in this community to entertain you with some pictures I have taken in the area where I live.
And this time I took a picture of the river and coincidentally at that time I saw the river water starting to recede and there were many children bathing in the river.
Maybe I have often posted about this river because the construction of the embankment next to it was one of my targets for taking pictures in previous posts from other communities.
Several months ago we always experienced big floods due to the river embankment breaking and all the river water entering the rural area where you live and now the river embankment has been completed.
We are very happy with everything that has been done because after this building is finished, it is very likely that when the rain falls and the river water rises it will not overflow again into the village so nothing will happen to us like what happened several months earlier.
Because when the river water enters the village, everything where we live is submerged, it can even be submerged up to an adult's waist, we can all imagine livestock such as chickens and cattle and goats, they must be very unfortunate and there are some of our chickens. The dead don't even know where the traces are because they are carried by the water current.
Our hopes have all been achieved because several months ago our hope was that the river embankment would be repaired immediately and that has been done and we now feel happy because during heavy rains we may not experience flooding again like before.
In my picture we can see children swimming and that is one of their games which is so fun that they even forget to eat and go home when they are having fun swimming like this.
Of course, those who swim in a river like this can swim and no longer worry about someone drowning. They can swim across the river from here to there.
And mostly in our place all the children can swim because swimming is very necessary for everyone, so they learn.
So that's my little story about the river around where I live.
This image I took using a cellphone camera.
