The marketplace is one of the busiest places you could imagine aside from highways congested with vehicles the heavy traffic I must say. In this content, allow me to share some of my snaps that I took from the busiest place of Dalaguete, Cebu their wet market. These photos will show you what a wet market in the Philippines looks like.
Litterally from the name itself wet market, from the concrete tables of market vendors to market floor its wet all over, its because this particular area is intended for meat and fish vendor that really requires water as most vendors are butchers as well who constantly used water as most of the time they rinse the meats the are selling.
As you can see in the above photo most of the concrete tables of vendor had these partitioned cubiles where vendors place their cooler styro box and plastic box which they use as their storage of fish, and as what I observed the boxes they use had this small cracks that causes water to leak, one of the reason why market floor is wet most of the time.
Look how busy the vendors in these photos, in the above photo the fish vendor was busy packing the fish as the consumer buys 2 kilos of fish, it is supposed to be a stolen shot but the consumer noticed as I was focusing the lens towards them. While in the below is the lad busy arranging the boxes of fish that the lad is about to sell.
I finally got a clear shot of the old woman selling bunch of fish on her table, and the lad on the next table eventually arranged the fish on his table.
Above photos were all captured by yours truly at the marketplace of Dalaguete, Cebu, using Nikon D5600 + Nikon 40-150 lens.
