Reading books can give you information, helps you to learn different topics, gave you an inspiration and motivation, and it is also a stress reliever.
Books becomes a part of our lives. We do have books when we were young, when we were still studying. I can remember, my bag is so full of books and it made by back aching. Imagine, you will carry your backpack with around 8 books. One book per subject. I realized its a struggle for the students to bring or carry those books but whats I am amazed is that kids or students really wanted to carry it without hesitation. Who would love to leave it at home and you cannot participate in class later or who would love to leave it in school and lost it in the next morning. So, better bring it in school and bring it when going home.
Books becomes my friend too when I was still working as a CMS (Central Monitoring Station) Operator. I am alone in the office facing those 7 computer screens. I don't have someone to talk, I can only see other employees along the one glass wall of the office.
I only have keypad phone that time and we don't have internet access in the office. So, during those boring days, times and hours, I prefer to read books to learn.
I was still single that time and I am more interested about love, courtship and marriage. I then found the book The Compleat Courtship by Nancy Van Pelt and decided to have it.
Upon looking at it, I thought the spelling was wrong but I also thought it is impossible because every book needs review before publishing it. So, I checked what does compleat mean. According to Merriam Webster's Dictionary it says:
having all necessary or desired elements or skills
From the title itself, it gives me a feeling of excitement to know all the necessary information about the topic. So, I really read it from cover to cover. Yes, you read it right, I was able to read it from the beginning until the end. This is also the book that I finished reading the fastest.
I love to read it in my vacant time in the office where I can concentrate more because the room is cold and so quite. When I got home, I also read it in my vacant time. I read it inside my room because I find it more peaceful and I am comfortable. I always wanted to continue reading it because the topic is so interesting for me that time and I am satisfied with the learning I got from reading it.

Making friends with yourself
It is interesting, right? You really need to be friends with yourself first then learn to like and love yourself before others.
Dating
Dating is the next topic. The author discussed how to ask for a date, how to answer it, what is the reason for dating, stages of dating, what to do or to discuss during a date, where is the best place to date, setting a curfew hours in dating and a lot more topics about it. It is indeed a compleat information about dating. One thing that also gets my attention is the sub topic to kiss or not to kiss.
Nowadays, kissing seems so normal during a date. In your own opinion, is it good to kiss during dating stage? I would love to read your comment below.
Breaking up
Breaking up in a relationship was also discussed. How to spot the red flag in the relationship, how to break with a heart and how to overcome it.
How to tell if you are really in love?
Can you differentiate love and infatuation? They are almost similar and usually we thought infatuation as love.
Touchy situations
Touchy situation is a topic that discuss why women gave up themselves to men. Fornication is so common nowadays. This topic will help young ladies and gentlemen not to fall with it. Who should stop it? Is it ladies or gentlemen? Share your thoughts in the comment box below.
Close encounter of a dangerous kind
The topic about premarital sex was also discussed. The writer showed some advantages and a lot of its disadvantages. She also listed different diseases or viruses that we may acquired in premarital sex with different persons.
Are you fit to be tied?
Are you ready for marriage? Do you know the factors to be considered in choosing a mate? What is the best age to marry for you? Age to marry is a good topic to discuss because everyone have different insights about this.
Engagement
On this topic the purpose of engagement and its lenght is being discussed. Not all engagement is successful because some couple tends to quarrel during that period and some decided to break and end the engagement.
Questions you wanted to ask about honeymoons
I won't share some of the question, but I would like to ask you if you have something in mind that you wanted to ask.
The first year of marriage
During these years, the reality sets in. This time the couple knows more about each other. They are starting to discuss about family, family planning and above all about budgeting. The problem with in laws also arises from this stage.
Those are the topic being discussed on this book. Did you find it interesting? At first, I really wanted to share 3 books but it seems it is so long. So, for now i only share about The Compleat Courtship. It is one of my favorite book.
