House Model Unit
We recently sold, the little townhouse that we’d lived in for 10 years and we are in the process of building a new house bigger than our previous one. Still, we opted to buy our house from a Real Estate Developer because it’s really difficult to look for an empty lot near the city these days. We bought a Duplex Unit but in our case it's a special unit because the design of the house is taken from the Callisto design but our unit is single detached. Of coure the price is a bit higher than duplex but we loved it. The process of selling our house was very smooth, it was a blessing that our neighbor was the one who bought it and paid us in cash so the selling process was never a headache for us.
What made us decide to get a new house?
The answer is, we now have a little girl with us and she deserves a better environment to live in. My husband and I were debating and weighing our options with the location and the budget for the new house and lot but at the end of the day, we finally agreed and signed the papers.
We’re hoping to be able to move in early next year, and certainly, there will be house improvements because we’ve seen the house plan but we already have plans to extend our kitchen to make more space for the dining. But I’ll be giving more detailed plans in my next house update because I can’t wait to share with you guys our new and exciting journey as a family. The pictures that I’ll be sharing, for now, are the construction progress of the house so I really can’t promise to take pretty pictures but it’s good to see how everything will come together after.
So this blog is purely for our house updates and improvements because this is the part in our life where we make transitions. I hope you’ll follow along with us as we start this new adventure and I’m excited to see how everything unfolds. I just hope that everything will run smoothly as well as the process of turning over our unit.
