Hello everybody,
Last Saturday was hubby's 71st birthday. For him it was just another ordinary day and thankful he is alive at his age. That day all geotechnical reports was all done, so he can relaxed and he wanted to travel anywhere but he did'nt know where to. I suggested, we went to Southscape and bought him low carb cake, he liked the idea.
Before we arrived there we passed by first in our favorite eatery by the sea, The Park Place for lunch as usual we ordered their yummy Lao-oy vegetable, the hot soup felt good in our stomach.
After there we passed by the Lotto outlet. My hubby gave my grandson 500 pesos bought all 777 scratch card, Since our grandson won 7,770 pesos from scratching hubby concluded that Kai have affinity with the cards.
Almost half the cards Kai won 20pesos, bought again the cards, then better luck next time. Hahaha!
Then we passed by the coffee shop, Teology bought coffee and my favorite Taro Blizz...
Next stop, The Southscape. This place was also our phone and laptop charging refuge during the super typhoon Odette before we bought a generator.
I called first the representative of the low carb store where was their exact location. I knew about this store in one of the FB low carb group which I am a member. My son went with me because the store was at the 2nd flr. in a boutique shop.
Coffee shop and a boutique combined.
When you open their shop, the lowcarb items were displayed in a ref after opening the door.
I ask right away the prices because my budget was only 1k pesos. Oh, oh a little bit pricey so I just chose three items. The whole cake was not available only cake slices. I chose this three items low carb donuts, low carb ube pandesal and low carb cake.
When we arrived at the Van we sang right away happy birthday to hubby he tasted the donuts first.
Timing while we were eating an engineer called if we can visit their project site that needed slope stability in Busay and he will be waiting for hubby's quote for the project. We then proceeded to Busay area. While the Van was travelling instead the celebrant ate his cake I was the one who devoured it, they laughed and laughed. This makesmesmile.
Just until here till next memorable travel again. Grateful to for this Wednesdaywalk and
