This is a “Taman Tepi Kali”, created by the local government for people to spend their leisure time on the banks of a river that flows in the middle of the city. People here call “river” the word “Kali”, so it has the same meaning as Riverside Park. Maybe it doesn't deserve to be called a park, but that's how it's called.
This park is located along the banks of the Aceh River which divides Banda Aceh City into two parts. The attraction of this "Taman Tepi Kali" is the night view. You can enjoy the sparkling lights and various night activities in Banda Aceh City with the cool atmosphere typical of the river air.
At the beginning of the operation of "Taman Tepi Kali", the atmosphere was very lively because it became a place for city residents to spend the night enjoying coffee at a coffee shop called "Kopi Tepi Kali". But after a few months, this coffee shop closed because it was empty of visitors. Actually the coffee shop "Kopi Tepi Kali" is not the only coffee shop there. Until now, after 2 years of operation, there is only one coffee shop that is still operating which is located at the very end of the area close to the bridge. The rest closed without ever being reopened.
Currently the situation there is very concerning. Quiet without activity and only a few empty outlets that are no longer functioning. Some of the doors of the public bathrooms there have also been missing, Several floors of the building have been damaged and left exposed, it is very dangerous and threatens the safety of people if they come there. Luckily, the lights there are still on because they use solar energy lamps.

In my opinion, this is our inability to complete a project that has been planned. Spending a lot of money and getting nothing.We to tend to be good at making things, but not good at managing and caring for them.
Even though the scenery there really has a high selling value, the scenery there is very beautiful, especially the scenery and atmosphere at night. If some of the damage that was there is repaired, then rethought so that it can operate and certain events are made, it is certain that this place will be very interesting and will be crowded again.
