Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In a few days, there will be a grand traditional and religious ceremonies at the temple in my village. This grand traditional and religious ceremonies is held at the temple on March 9-11. Before this grand traditional and religious ceremonies, villagers gradually go to the temple and help clean and prepare the area around the temple both this and next week. This morning so my family went to our village temple. The temple is about 1.5 kilometers from our village. Besides our village, there are other villages as well. Because this temple is the village temple for three other villages too. We arrived at the temple around 9:00 AM. Some villagers went to the temple, but not many in the morning. But they gradually went to the temple. We made merit and paid respects to the monks first.
Then we helped clean and prepare the place for the grand traditional and religious ceremonies at the temple. And we also helped decorate some areas of the temple in the Lanna art style (Northern Thai art).
