Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today the weather is finally clearing up after two weeks of continuous rain. Even though the fruits and vegetables are growing nicely, the home garden is still full of weeds and long grass. And today is the first day of the new semester for my granddaughter too. And my autistic son's school started two weeks ago. My wife and I no longer have childcare responsibilities, allowing us more leisure time. After my wife and I took our granddaughter and autistic son to school, we planned to take care of the home garden. We start by removing the grass and weeds with the hoes. The grass and weeds are quite overgrown and it takes a long time to remove them with the hoes.
And we also prune the plants along with removing weeds and grass. Especially pea eggplant, The pea eggplant plant has gotten too bushy. There are two of them in our home garden. And they are rather difficult to prune due to their thorns. So I took on the task of pruning the two pea eggplant trees all by myself, while my wife continued removing the grass and weeds in the garden. Besides pruning the pea eggplant plants, I also gather the pea eggplants in plastic bags to use for cooking on other days. I got two plastic bags full of pea eggplants this time.
Finally we trimmed back the veggies and weeds growing along the fence, Although it was looking a bit overgrown, But it took us quite a long time.
We was very exhausted this morning, so I took just a few photos and the wife doesn't cook. But our gardening isn't finished yet, and we'll do it another day.
