Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Around mid March to early April, Chinese people and Thai of Chinese descent in Thailand pay respect to their ancestors during the Qingming Festival. Besides traveling from Chiang Mai to Bangkok to visit my mother, I also wanted to pay respects to my ancestors during the Qingming Festival. And this morning, so I went to my ancestors tomb to pay respect to ancestors with my mother, brothers, sister-in-laws, nephews and niece. Our ancestral tomb is located in Nakhon Pathom. Besides being the location of our ancestral tomb, this place also ancestral tombs of other Chinese and Thai people of Chinese descent. This ancestral tomb is the tomb for my father and grandmother. My father and grandmother were Chinese and emigrated from China to Thailand about 60-70 years ago. But I was born in Thailand.
We bought food and offerings for our ancestors yesterday to pay respect to ancestors this morning. We visit our ancestor tomb once a year during the Qingming Festival. When we arrived at our ancestor tomb, we offered food and fruit and paid our respects to our ancestors. And we spent almost two hours at the ancestor tomb before go home.
These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
