Hello everyone. Two days ago, I shared the Mon Sone viewpoint. Viewpoint : nature and sunrise views fram a mountain lookout. This viewpoint is located in the Fang District (District where I live). But this post, I take everyone to see another interesting viewpoint on the mountain. Which is located in Chai Prakan District. This viewpoint is called Sui Thang Viewpoint. The viewpoint on mountain is 1,412 meters above sea level.
Sui Thang Viewpoint is located in Nong Bua Subdistrict, Chai Prakan District, Chiang Mai Province. Sui Thang Viewpoint is approximately 16 kilometers from Mon Sone Viewpoint. You can visit both viewpoints in one day. If you have free time. But for me and my wife, we have limited time for sightseeing. Because we have to take care of our son (autistic) and boy doesn't like to travel. So we had limited free time when our son were at school for special children.
This trip, I traveled with my wife to the Sui Thang Viewpoint. My wife was the driver and I took photos of this trip. I think another highlight of this trip was that we had to pass through 5 Yunnan Chinese villages before reaching this viewpoint. The Yunnan Chinese from these villages are Yunnan Chinese who lived in northern Thailand many decades ago. And these Yunnan Chinese villages also have interesting tourist attractions within the villages. Some villages I have shared tourist attractions in my old posts.
But this time we have limited time. So we only traveled through these Yunnan Chinese villages. And I took some pictures of the some atmosphere in these Yunnan Chinese villages to share with everyone too.
The first Yunnan Chinese village was Ban Mai Nong Bua. This village is located on a plateau. It is another interesting village. And I have shared this village's some tourist attractions in old posts too.
Some atmospheres in Ban Mai Nong Bua.

When we passed this red Chinese style arch, it was a mountain journey.
The second Yunnan Chinese village is Ban Sinchai. This village is located in the mountains. And we have never visited this village.
Some atmospheres in Ban Sinchai.

The third Yunnan Chinese village is Ban Tham Ngop or Ban Santiwana. This village is located in the mountains. And we have never visited this village too. This village has many interesting attractions. If we have free time, we will visit and take photos of these attractions to share with everyone.
Some atmospheres in Ban Tham Ngop.

The fourth Yunnan Chinese village is Ban Pha Daeng. We have visited this village and I shared the Pha Daeng viewpoint and cafe in this village last month with everyone. Ban Pha Daeng is a village located on a mountain as well. I think it's a nice mountain village to live in and I really like this village.
Some atmospheres in Ban Pha Daeng.

The fifth Yunnan Chinese village is Ban Pa Kia. This village is a small village on mountain and the last village before reaching the Sui Thang Viewpoint. But I didn't take pictures of the atmosphere of this village. After passing this village we will travel on the road with forest on mountain.

When we reached the Sui Thang Viewpoint. Unfortunately, we arrived here late. So we didn't see the sea of fog. Because the highlight of this viewpoint, Besides being able to see nature views fram a mountain lookout and also being able to see the sea of fog views fram a mountain lookout in the winter. And the sea of fog in winter here is beautiful. It is like a stream among the mountains. Which I've never seen it but I looked at photos online. Me and my wife wanted to see the sea of fog for ourselves. So we came here. Although this time we were disappointed that we couldn't see the sea of fog. But we were happy to see the nature around this viewpoint. And I want to share our happiness with everyone. Let's go.
Behind these high mountains is Burma.

Additionally, Sui Thang Viewpoint also has a camping area (Sui Thang Camp Ground). You can rent tents from park officer or bring your own tent. But I forgot to ask about the service fee. So I don't know the camping fees at this place.

Facilities of Sui Thang Viewpoint. This viewpoint is in charge of Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park. There are park ranger station 5 (Sui Thang) Thailand of Doi Pha Hom Pok Park to provide care and information for tourists. Additionally, there are restrooms and shops for tourists.

These are the stories and photos of Sui Thang Viewpoint I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
